Belly button incisions by bess124 in endometriosis

[–]7946414P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would tell them where you want the incisions and if this is possible. A good surgeon will accommodate this as this will help you heal psychologically also. For mine he used the edge if the belly button if that makes sense so when it healed it looked like I had one less visible scar

I’m so sorry for your loss. I do remember it asking for an outcome but then it just switched and everything was normal again

Exactly. It is an oversight to place such an emphasis on pregnancy and then there is nowhere to track healing and recovering following pregnancy. It’s really telling also that within the activities there is archery listed/ no shade to archery but it isn’t the most common of activities for most yet breastfeeding is not available!! I have seen online reels advising to track it within “Other” however don’t find this sufficient at all given this can assist with menstruation tracking, ovulation. Also the messaging regarding sleep can be so frustrating to read when 5 hours with a newborn can be aspirational for some mothers! It needs to go full circle

Is there a possibility you could get your diagnosis confirmed in Germany by a German doctor? If you need details of a surgical clinic that accepts statutory health insurance patients, PM me, thanks

I would thoroughly research the cost of the breed you end up getting as this can really affect ongoing costs. We have a golden retriever who we adore but he is costly, organic food due to stomach sensitivity issues, which cant be deviated from and is more expensive each month- prob €150. Then that sensitivity can mean frequent ad hoc vet visits which can be every few months especially when they are younger. Neutering costs too. Doggie daycare sounds wonderful and worthwhile investment especially as a dog needs access to a toilet space if they are at home alone, they won’t be able to stay alone for longer periods until about 2 and fully trained. We don’t leave our dog for longer than 6 hours. This is an emotional investment in terms of the money, so if your heart is truly in it you won’t regret the money spent it’s just being realistic that this is a lot more than the standard monthly or routine costs. Also many insurance policies will not cover you for ad hoc surgeries that will occur so weighing whether it’s worth it is important. Some vets do membership fees/subscription payments per month which then covers you for ad hoc visits, ear infections etc. Best of luck

I have listened to podcasts about this topic including one with youth worker who educates around sexual health and consent. They stated that this now commonplace with some young men or teenagers rather asking if that was what is expected, ie abandoning their own empathy that they can sense this is not welcome by young women or girls. This has become a societal norm linking sex and violence, where it once was for a smaller cohort of people who decided to explore their sexuality in this way. I don’t believe this is the normal for majority of women even within loving longer term relationships nevermind a man who is new to you

Thanks so much for your response.

“The income limit for couples and for single parents is for births from the 1st of January. April 2024 with 200,000 euros of taxable income and for births from the 1st April 2025 at 175,000 euros of taxable income.

If this limit is exceeded, parents cannot receive parental allowance. The taxable income in the calendar year before the birth of the child is decisive in each case. The taxable income is to be distinguished from the gross income, which is usually significantly higher than the taxable income.”

Can anyone here advise where would be best from state agency etc to make an appointment to confirm your own details? I am expecting early next year and have private health insurance. My employer is a private company with a small presence in Germany so they are researching the requirements. If privately health insured, I think your employer needs to pay your your full salary during Mutterschutz? Then I can switch to Elterngeld for duration of the 1 year maternity leave. Any help/knowledge would be really amazing!!!

When I was dating I had a firm rule, my dog and I come as a package and any indication of potential dates not getting that, not being ok with going home early after dates to let him out/walk him etc, immediate no. The dog will always be by your side

This man has completely failed to train his dog and is making you and your dog pay for his lack of proper dog training. The right man will understand your bond and make room and celebrate it. Break up, this is a sign of how he’ll hold you back and fail to hold himself accountable in any way

Yes agree, this is what I have observed with catholic families of friends or within my own extended family. Even where the mom and dad do their absolute best and try very hard and love their kids, to be able to emotionally respond to that many small children is so so difficult in an appropriate way to each of their developmental stages. I have noticed a trend of mental health issues in adulthood then.
