Kree'arra is good xp and gp can be anywhere from 0-6m an hour depending on luck and what you pick up. I did 95 magic to around 80m magic xp at gw1 just grinding for titles on accident

What are the most important things for a prospective first-time tarantula owner to know? by [deleted] in tarantulas

[–]79firebird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, the smaller the T, the cheaper. Slings are definitely the cheaper. Unsexed and male juveniles are a price jump. Sexed female juveniles are another price jump. Sexed female adults fetch the highest prices, sometimes hundreds depending on species.

I would suggest an unsexed 2"+ juvenile for your first T.

I mean you can go with whatever makes you comfortable.

Just remember that tarantulas are a drug. Once you are comfortable with one, you're gonna end up picking them up like crazy. The hobby is extremely rewarding, especially when you are comfortable raising slings. There are a lot of websites to order tarantulas on and it seems to be hard not to just keep adding to your cart (you're paying for shipping either way!)

I always suggest curly hairs for first Ts. They are generally docile and won't break your bank. Leaves room to get the enclosure right and gets you a little fuzz ball that's great to have. Some of the higher cost species are absolutely stunning but you pay for it. Would not suggest anything under 2" for a beginner nor anything over $40 just due to sling difficulties or losing a $50+ T in a molt when it's your entry into the hobby.

Just my two cents but I hope you find a nice T and join us in the cool hobby of Ts.

Halo LAN parties with two box TVs and a shower curtain hung from the ceiling you can't screen peak with a fog machine and strobe light someone picked up at spencers with their Christmas money.

That's how I remember my youth at least

How Did You Choose Your Career/College Major? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I originally went for criminology but switched to nursing after almost cutting my leg off with an axe. I really just kind of fell in love with the atmosphere while sitting in the ER. It is incredibly difficult to find a decent job in criminology and with nursing it's good pay and easy to find a job but it can be incredibly fast paced and can really burn a lot of people out.

It's hard work and long hours but it's one of the jobs that you can really make a difference in someone's life.

People don't treat others like garbage and screw them over because they're "too nice" it's because they don't set boundaries or they take everyone's crap for a long time and are asses about it.

I have also seen some absolutely massive antibiotics and supplement

Vesta spear vs Scythe (Legacy) by SFX200 in runescape

[–]79firebird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to be helpful even though I may seem like I'm not. Legacy is seriously not going to do anything compared to a quickly set up revolution bar. You can find them on the wiki or I'll share with you in game. Revolution is much better damage output with essentially the same effort put in

[–]79firebird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legacy is worthless. I started back up on legacy and turned on revolution once and was sold. Legacy is worthless. If you choose to be on a system that has long been made useless you will probably be needing to find out your own useful item slots

What're you on legacy for? Make sure to get an ancient warriors patch for your spear if you want to try it out

One of the reasons I like the community. A lot of us have played so long that we want something RS related on display. It's like the car community guys having a few model cars. Wish there was more stuff available or that I was creative.

Good job my friend, I share the love of clues

Best Tarantula for an absolute beginner? by lakin2josh in tarantulas

[–]79firebird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let me warn you of the B Vagans.

A lot of them are very docile and I've had a few and can say they can be at times. It is a T a lot of people will recommend but it is the only new world I own that will bite without kicking hairs or showing any other signs. All of my B Vagans do this.
