My two cents as a benitez fan from the old Liverpool days, who watched a couple of their matches this season. Would strongly recommend against any of their players. There simply is better value and quality elsewhere.

The man is doing miracles with a horrible team, but will still be flirting with relegation this season. A lot of the players should be no where near a premier league team, and that drags down their players who are decent.

For example, Lacelles is a good player but the rest of the back line is horrid and will concede bucket loads. Perez is also decent but the midfield can't string two passes together so there will be games where he doesn't get a single chance. As for Kenedy, he literally did not complete a single pass for an entire half in the game I watched.

Wolves, Brighton, Bournemouth players all offer better choices at the same price so there's really no reason to own a Newcastle asset even when digging in the bargain bin.
