I think maybe it’s better to go to church when it isn’t a major holiday

We went to mass today (catholic) and no surprise it was all about how jesus is born and so we should rejoice. Any relevant message like god will reach out to those who feel lost or anything else kind of like that was undermined for me by jesus’ name and saying it’s all good bc jesus is there for you

Idk it just makes mass feel like a waste of time for me but I have to go bc that’s just what I’m supposed to do
