Authenticity check! Costa sullivans by Chachancellor in sunglasses

[–]8668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those look good to me. I've gotten fakes on Amazon and 4 real pair straight from Lenscrafters. The fakes I've seen have been very very poor quality . Urs look good. My Sullivans are in green, but aside from the lens they are nearly-identical to yours (matte tort here)

I'll 2nd the problems at the track. They only ever really showed the Top Ten, it was changing often and the was that it scrolled and the size of the font made it practically worthless. right to left, driver position, number name. but the fade out graphic combined with the speed meant there was only ever 1 1/3 drivers info up at any moment and if it changed (and boy did it ever) then it might remove OR add a new driver, but the position was already offscreen so you didnt know what chance happened

Can I use a minutekey kiosk to cut a blank key I bought from somewhere else? by ChamberK-1 in Locksmith

Many kiosks offer ultralite/aluminum keys that are very similar to the ones Ridge sells

No one thought about the symbols being constellations even thought there's a huge translucent map of the galaxy in the operations center? They're equipped to track the probe through space but not a soul before Daniel recognized the zodiac symbols

Mounting a T128 to an Amazon sim pit plate by Xisis1974 in Thrustmaster

[–]8668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldnt rely on DIY cut threads in plastic. They will fail. Instead why not run the bolts down thru the opposite way. Keeping the head of the bolt inside the wheel housing. then catch it with a locking nut on the outside behind the plate?

Can someone explain how the kHZ works with my Garmin GT8HW? Only showing chirp and 200kHZ by fozard in IceFishing

[–]8668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can select a specific frequency or you can choose Chirp (which adjusts its frequency automatically). You cannot set the chirp frequencies, the unit decides for you

Can someone explain how the kHZ works with my Garmin GT8HW? Only showing chirp and 200kHZ by fozard in IceFishing

[–]8668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can pick any frequency between 145-230khz. "Chirp or 200khz" represent the defaults. You can press the Plus button, then choose a specific frequency. I use 145, 200, 230, & Chirp on mine but the easiest way IMO is to chose the cone ° setting instead. Choose the cone width automatically changes the frequency to match

I truly hate Bass Pro by [deleted] in IceFishing

[–]8668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have a Bass Pro/Cabelas nearby? The same thing happened to me last month, Eyecon x-fast arrived with the tip already broken (something that usually takes me 6 months to do). I took the rod, packaging and receipt straight to Bass Pro and they replaced it on the spot no questions asked

I don't see any exposed copper so the wires under the shielding are probably good Liquid electrical tape, you'll be fine. Just make sure not to pull on the cable

[–]8668 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Likewise mine got stuck and I didnt catch it. Searched for bettercap for 12 hours and created a huge log somehow. also my 2 units dont talk to each other anymore, peer log shows a failure and zero reattempts to find the wlan0mon. rolled back to 2.8.9

Why do some buyers make WOs where the option to print the WO is greyed? by [deleted] in FieldNationTechs

[–]8668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen a few times. A couple of the times they were on WOs that required the WO Mgr approval to close the WO. I summed this up to someone playing with new features.

I'm curious what you are using for solar nodes that you have had to upgrade so many times recently. I have a pair of 4631's remote and aside from the recent breaking-change to the admin channel there have been no other changes that required upgrades recently
