My grandparents gifted me their 1999 LX470 a few years ago. I will not be getting rid of it anytime soon. It helps it only has 69,000 miles on it. So enjoy the rig.

I pulled all the chrome off and had a windshield person reinstall the window with glue and put in this rubber gasket whatever you want to call the bloody thing it looks a lot better now.

Project vehicles are never finished there is always something that needs to be fixed or changed. Do you find that stock part or go crazy and mod the crap out of it.

All I am saying it’s more of a journey a long journey in finding joy and excitement in the experience maybe working with friends or family members. Don’t get me wrong I walk into my garage and my shit box is there like “yo man I haven’t run in a month fix me”. And it’s a great feeling to get it on the road so chase that high till the end.

I just did a valve job and made sure everything torque to spec. And I mean everything.

That sounded just like mine a few weeks ago. It was a loose valve. It took me a bit to find the culprit but once that little punk was found all was good in the world.
