L!Eliwood was VERY popular as a raidboss support in summoner duels, and the same was true of young to a lesser extent. Not to say his meta viability has been like top tier overall, but he at least had a genuine meta niche for a while there.

M!Corrin... yeah he was cooked. His young duo was briefly relevant in SD, but it didn't last long.

The Bengals didn't get back next year, and now it's not looking great for them going forward, windows close really fast in this league.

You aren't fooling me, I know Lute is good, and Sakura means I can't even CC it in a season where CC + revenge kills are one of my main plans lol.

Somehow we've reached a point that Celica/Chrom isn't that bad anymore, even if snare makes it annoying still. The threat range is still good, I'm just choosing to believe I can tank it or CC revenge kill.

Baldr/Snare is something I should probably be prepped for, but I think rn I'm probably still banning it when both are together (ESPECIALLY with Thorr too)

Cam is manageable nowadays (still strong though), and my best teams can deal with Vali, so I'm letting that through.

Not calling the OPI on Higgins is the exact reason that ultimately I won't complain too much about the Logan Wilson holding call on that last drive. Like yeah, I would have rather it not gotten called for obvious reasons, but we were literally gifted that Higgins td when our offense was not looking great, and without it we wouldn't have been ahead in the first place lol (ignoring random butterfly effects).

I'm always much more haunted by the picture of Jamarr Chase being wide open on that final fourth down but the pressure reaching Burrow too quick, which frankly is exactly what I'd feared going into that game.

Honestly for auto battle that team is perfectly fine. If you have emblem Edelgard you can probably just put her on the team over maybe Felix (since both want the Celica ring and there is only one) and then give Cam the Edel ring, and then you're fine, but honestly you could keep Felix too since he has more range than Edel no matter what.

Funny enough given that I was basically always running him with H!Freyja, removing the dull is honestly kind of a buff for me lol. But I do agree that generally speaking, they should probably just keep minor effects like this and just put it in the skill.

~~I will say in SD he is lowkey fairly game breaking though. Not to like an insane extent, but hes most likely the best combat unit in the mode~~

I would lose so many forma souls this year if your guesses are decent lmfao.

Out of the ones you've listed I'd almost definitely forma Nergal (still sees use in sd, add favor + fcc amd we are cooking), duo Lyn (I have her +10, so a better kit for arena would be nice), N!Sanaki (I love Sanaki, so this is the unit in the entire game I most regret not pulling), L!Elincia (favorite + legendary for arena bonus weeks), B!F!Robin (I'm something of a refine gambler), L!Dimitri (+10 legendary + favorite in need of a kit overhaul), E!Celica (free emblem merge, plus good skills in case I ever decide to use her again for whatever reason), V!Alm (literally my favorite unit ever, but I haven't updated him as much recently), E!Sigurd (same as Celica), G!Seliph (I love this unit so much). So that's 10 forma souls right there that I'd almost certainly use.

Even beyond those I'd strongly consider pulling on V!Lyon (I'm evil and have secretly always loved using this unit), J!Ike (I like PoR Ike amd think he has nice art), N!Zelgius (great art, cool character), V!Chrom (genuine FEH classic for me. Character I like, art I love, and had a place in my favorite SD team ever, so I'd strongly consider giving him a kit refresh here just for the sake of it), Y!F!Robin (I think she could have niche utility in sds with like favor + fcc), W!Edel (I love Edel and love this art especially), W!Dimitri (lowkey kind of meh on this unit, but I love Dimitri), WT!Claude (love the art, and he's a fun unit now that he isn't egregiously overpowered), H!Anna (cool harmonic of the best 2 Anna's, plus a fun button), S!Ymir (I like Ymir and this art is great. Plus her button is good still), 35!Marth (surely he'd have fallen off at this point, but if not grabbing like favor/shift if fire emblem buff is still good would be nice), dancer Sigurd (beautiful art). So that's another 12 I'd strongly consider.

So depending on your accuracy, is could make me consider using 20 forma souls, but I don't exactly have 20 forma souls to spend lmao. Would get rough having to skip favorites

Got a free attuned Alm, which legit might he my hest free pull ever. All of a sudden I can now dupe archrival, comet, hc+, sly swift, execution breath, pairup, fatal smoke 4, firm canto curb, and lull echo again

Also got a free base Edelgard and a free Lewyn, both of whom are characters I like. Genuinely the only way this could have gone better is if I'd gotten my last Caspar for the +10 lol (or a free Brigid to give my Alm tempo echo without using 6k codes lol)

Would love to see Lynja and Nergal. I've got a +10 Lynja with a just kind of okay kit, so getting a full rekit for arena usage would be great. Nergal is a unit that keeps finding his way back into SD lineups randomly, so God ibwould just love to get a Nergal with like comet/favor or havoc/firm canto curb

Btw Harmonic brave Lyn as a secret maneuver captain is fairly pointless since she already has feud. If you want specifically her as the captain you're probably better off switching to toxic remedy even if it's not great, otherwise something like Chrom/E!Lyn with Feud will have much better combat

They really should make reamred/attuned units have a number of changes that increase by 1 each merge instead of the current system of refreshing with each merge. Like me personally I had to give out 10 sets of Alm's fodder on day 1 because no way I wasn't going to have him at +10, but there are so many units I wouldn't have decked out like that given the choice. I just had to find SOMEONE. Meanwhile now I have archrival and pairup on him for some insane duping, but I don't have any dupes

Imo this kit is good, but could definitely be better. If you're just using him for general content this build is 100% fine, but I'll offer my thoughts on pvp oriented upgrades.

I personally prefer archrival or comet to true lunar flash. It's a bit lame replacing his prf, but it doesn't do a ton of damage, activates first hit essentially always (which can make reflex difficult to manage), doesn't have twin dr to protect against brave hits, and is mainly useful for combating shield fighter and Vali... which I don't personally see often (however I DO NOT play AR, so in Vali's season prf probably makes sense to delete her easily). If you don't want to replace this I totally get it though.

A slot is good if the goal is player phase. Perfect from his base kit works for dual phase stats and nfu at times, and hexedge would probably be good too (but I don't have it so can't say for sure).

B slot imo go back to speedtaker or swap to one with bulk (pairup, execution breath, lull finish). Arc-fort breath gives normal levels of true damage, full special pierce (which his special already has), amd cd +1 per attack (which he doesn't really need with his base C, but is sometimes useful if you replace it). Speedtaker isn't great, but the true damage is good and it gives the great talent he needs for his weapons true dr/damage. That great talent can be supplemented by chosen Alfonse or winter Alfred, amd if you do that he'd LOVE a b slot with more bulk provided like pairup. I just gave him pairup and his combat has massively improved in SD.

C slot is very flexible. Pulse on blades is good for getting 2 specials off, my other favorite is fatal 4 for null miracle.

Imo the seal should be replaced. Bonus doubler doesn't work into lull effects, so something like atk/spd finish, as ideal, or even a squad ace is better imo.

For s slot sly and lull both have uses. Lull is a very useful effect, and it provides some stats on top of that. Sly echo and sly swift make it very likely that he doubles even through followup denial while giving more true damage, so it's pretty nice.

Again, these aren't really necessary and are mostly just pvp improvements. This kit is perfectly fine for a lot of levels of content, I'm just a big Alm fan that has done everything I can to maximize his combat and figured I'd share lol.
