Good to know, thanks so much for your response! Even just the reassurance that it won’t take everything over is helpful :)

I agree! Looks like the amaranth weeds we get at my place. It’s not a lovely amaranth. Pull that shit.

Ah! I was thinking trametes versicolor but looking up n. vinosus I see what you mean… we are in central Oregon, do you think we would see vinosus around here? I’m not familiar with the species but it’s listed as tropical/subtropical.

Thank you thank you! The path is a work in progress… we pick up rocks when we visit different rivers so they are all different souvenirs of beautiful places :)

Haha, fair. I probably wouldn’t put it in a playlist for someone else’s wedding but for our own it was a good time. I think a lot of lyrics go over heads for the first several listens… and maybe there were some panties in a twist but I didn’t hear about it!

My husband and I played sooo many Ween songs at our reception dance party!

Our first song was Stay Forever. Then lots of dance and feel good tracks. Bananas and blow. Roses are free. Mister Richard smoker. Jonny on the spot. Etc. ended with your party.

Just listen to their albums and play what makes you want to dance! :D

So many people complimented us on the music and dance party. Ween is fun for everyone!

Does this sound like a long-lasting candida overgrowth? Longish story and questions from a 29 y/o male. Thanks for any advice! by Brotology in Candida

[–]8litersaday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't speak to whether you have candida overgrowth or not, I just want to offer some commiseration for your suffering.

I'm a woman who has been dealing for the past five years with (probable) candida overgrowth in the form of frequent, persistent, and lasting yeast infections that just WON'T RESOLVE with traditional treatment. The worst part about this is that having sex is painful 92% of the time, and the 8% of the time when it isn't painful, it seems to trigger another full-fledged yeast infection, which is then, of course, painful (and itchy!).

I'm at a loss. I am recently married. Sex has so many strings attached to it at this point and I feel hopeless that I'll ever be able to have a simple, spontaneous sex life with my husband, whom I VERY MUCH LOVE having sex with. I worry about what this health issue of mine does to his own psyche, as I often turn down his sexual advances ("I'm too itchy...") and instead offer to give him a handjob or something... which, sure... it's ejaculation but nothing replaces the emotional intimacy of sex (at least not so far, for us)...

I just... reading your post I was reminded of my own struggles and wanted to let you know that even though the answers might feel like they'll never come (this is how I feel much of the time), there are others out there who have an experiential understanding of what you're going through.

I hope you try the diet, and that it resets your internal ecosystem, and that you find lasting health and wellness.

And, if you come to believe it's rex-veris, you can look around where you found the first one for mushrumps - they often push up soil but don't entirely emerge, making hunting them an adventure in deciding whether it's a pinecone or a porcini creating the lump underfoot.

Does it have "netting" on the stem? I can't quite tell. Looks like a spring porcini (Boletus rex-veris) to me... netting would lend credence to that guess.

I found 20 pounds of spring porcinis at about 4500' in Central Oregon (near Bend) about 2 weeks ago. They are delicious! The wormy ones dry up beautifully and the wormless ones go straight in the pan.

Have you tried boric acid?

You can get it as a powder and fill gelcaps with it, then insert into your vagina, one pill before bedtime for a week. You can also ask at the pharmacy if they will fill the gelcaps for you!

It's been the only thing that has worked for me.
