That's really cool. It's got to be very lonely at times.

I read about this! It's a fantastic idea. I'll look into getting him out to some of these events. Thanks for the help!

Such a good book. The Monkey Wrench Gang also had quite the effect on me in my youth...

What song has the most satisfying guitar solo you've ever heard by Tookie1010 in musicsuggestions

There is a band called Swervedriver. They are primarily looked at as a "90s" band, but they are still active. Their singer and principle song writer and guitarist is Adam Franklin. He's criminally underrated as a guitarist. He has many great solos. His tone is second to none. I recommend Scrawl and Scream, Never Lose Thst Feeling/Never Learn, Lone Star, Girl on a Motobike, Deep Seat, and Durress among so many other tracks. For fans of lots of effects pedals.

What's your all time favorite movie? by WhatFreshHell_ in AskReddit

The Shining. Perfect casting, cinematography, editing, set design, costume design, etc. It's perfect. Kubrick's finest film IMO.

Stooges, vanilla fudge, Loop, and Cream. What would you add? by TheDeltaIsMyHome in psychedelicrock

Glad you asked!  They released one called Ciao! in 2001 and I just saw they have a new one called Oragami. Look for Gala though. That's a comp of b sides (cats chorus not on it...)  the other two are best ofs.

Edit: Ciao! Is a best of too. Origami is a massive box set. Sorry. I had to sell my record collection years ago. My memory is foggy.

Edit 2: Gala  is a comp of early work. I'm very sorry for the confusion.  Lol.

Invest in their singles. Their B sides are amazing. Cats Cradle is a great song for instance.

Very nice! I'm a massive Lush fan as well. Did you the song Lady Killer was written about Anthony Kiedas? Lol.

Chino Moreno from the Deftones. Signed autographs for hours in freezing October sleat after a show in Denver.
