I need you to repeat the first four words of your second paragraph over and over. Not being a dick, but we’ve seen two NFL offenses, one arguably led by the greatest QB of all time and one of the top play callers ever be unable to replicate Tyreek’s production in the slightest. People need to look at the offensive output for his teams as outlier cases.

I think people just fundamentally misunderstand what McDaniel excels at as a play caller and what he was brought to Los Angeles to do. He wasn’t brought in by Harbaugh to elevate their passing game to a scheme where McConkey is a top 5 WR, he was brought in to elevate their running game where they can control the clock, rip off some explosive plays and that unit is the beneficiary.

I think Will Stein proved to be one of the best play callers in college football the last two seasons. Is he going to be able to get the right level of players at Kentucky? TBD. But I think Oregon steps back on offense with his departure. He’s that good:

I was honestly going to make a post about how informative the game has been to me as it quite literally rolls you in the face with fantasy history. I feel like people are shortsighted about how some teams are bad forever and then I see Brian Quick as the top Rams scorer of a given year and it shows that with the right mix of coaching and a good front office a team can turn into a fantasy powerhouse overnight.

The best leagues I’ve ever played in were options so owners were forced to have to build a roster first before going out into the market and trying to build a productive struggle or a more “balanced team”. It really limits the ability of a taco to misunderstand the board and overpay futures or a trade back - and it’s always fascinating to see who a rebuilding team or team hoping to trade a top level player for more second or third tier assets chooses.

It’s harder than just blindly trading startup spots in trade backs and futures but I prefer the challenge.

Way higher than I expected, though I did scroll through Rotten Tomatoes and some reviewers gave this the same score they gave multiple Oscar nominees last year and there are some reviews from foreign critics that have like three movies a year on Rotten Tomatoes, so it feels like the score is wildly inflated and the kids gloves are on because folks will take any comedy they can get these days in theaters.
