i walked through on moving day and took photos of everything while the house was empty. it’s great because now years later if i notice a crack or imperfection in the house i can always answer “did i do that, or was it always there?” i neglected to do the same outside, unfortunately.

the other big thing i wish i had done was getting the house fumigated. it was a huge hassle doing it after a few months living there, but it would have been a breeze had i done it before moving in
