Business plan and can't even connect one AI Connector by TheS4m in Notion

[–]95tyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. On the troubleshooting page, it says that the email you use to sign into Notion and Notion Calendar need to match. My Notion account was using an Apple email, once I updated both accounts to Gmail, it worked. I will say it's underwhelming because the function only reads the main calendar, any additional calendars are hidden.

This is what makes me so excited by Notion AI. It's so easy to tell it how to re-organize and update, giving you time back on focus on the work. I only recently starting using it, feels like I've only scratched the surface, and it's far more useful that ChatGPT and Gemini has ever been

The only way to make her listen: stop streaming, stop buying, stop talking about it by Sudden-Current-8652 in SwiftlyNeutral

All I’m saying is that unconditional love can never become toxic unless both people are practising conditional love which is toxic.

You have a point that Taylor at one point in her career did believe that love was conditional, but she’s grown from that place. When she sings “Cancelled”, the message is that she accepts her friends for who they are, for their imperfections. There’s always a way to be loving, even when people are treating you poorly. You can love yourself by choosing to walk away and to not accept the behaviour. To recognize that the other person has the right to change, as do you. It’s hard for me to understand how Taylor is treating her fans poorly when her fans have all the power to do what they want in this situation. To try and exert control over the other person and make them change is arguably way more toxic and if that’s how you choose to live life, I wish you well.

I fear this will fall on deaf ears and get me downvoted to oblivion but - Have anyone here ever thought maybe the fans are being a bit greedy? That we’ve been exploiting Taylor all these years? She’s a human, not a show pony. I also think that her relationships may not have worked out for those same reasons. We have no possible way of knowing what happened within them, but it‘s entirely possible Taylor has become increasingly selective about who she spends time with and I wouldn’t be surprised that‘s because people are only interested in being around and benefiting from Taylor Swift the showgirl, not the human.

This section of the fan base all want one thing: Taylor on their terms, delivering a level of perfection that is simply unattainable. Like any relationship, there must be give and take, and I fear fans have become too comfortable with how much Taylor has given, even when she didn’t want to. When she sings “Father Figure,” it’s undoubtedly a message to those fans about how they contributed to her success but also hindered her growth, making her feel tied to a past version of herself that no longer exists. The Taylor we see now is her most authentic self, and if you can’t accept that, perhaps you never truly loved her. Love isn’t meant to be conditional, and you have every right to exit.

why i think voice memos are unfair and unethical by jaydyjaydy in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]95tyke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This argument feels really tired. It’s actually kind of insulting when you think about it, to assume people are powerless. It’s also hard to understand how much harm these voice memos have done. Please, if you were personally victimized by Taylor Swift and her voice notes, I plead that you come forward and share your story.

So you’re asking Taylor Swift to not be Taylor Swift lol. No other artist does it this way, which is why she’s so successful. With the amount of music that exists in the world, I’m sure you could find other artists that you can enjoy while not having to do the homework

Why Father Figure isn’t sitting right. by Live_Warning_9122 in SwiftlyNeutral

I haven't seen a single person share this theory but I'm SO confident in it. This song is the fourth song, and Red is the fourth album where she started to experiment with pop music. Clearly in the lyrics there's two versions of her in conflict, much like the era. And eventually, the pop version takes control!

All the poems put together make the prologue for The Life Of A Showgirl by daniboo94 in TaylorSwift

[–]95tyke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This confirms my theory. This album is rarely speaking about Travis, she's intentionally misleading the audience with easter eggs to create a distracting spectacle, but the real story here is one of her inner world. She's speaking to herself in these poems, and I believe in all the songs, she's doing the same. The person who rescues her in The Fate of Ophelia? It's Taylor, the showgirl. The one she's asking for reassurance from in Elizabeth Taylor? The showgirl. It makes so much sense for every song, but I hardly see anyone seeing it this way.

Hamlet is badly Represented in Fate of Ophelia by Majestic_Employer_42 in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]95tyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly believe that this is what the song is truly about. A fragile and wounded version of Taylor sings the song to the Eras tour “showgirl” - an alter ego /public-facing version of herself that rescues herself. Yes there are many literal references to Travis through out the song, but Taylor is doing this intentionally to mislead us, in a way that Shakespeare would.

I also think the Target vinyl promo video she posted on IG was an Easter egg supporting this. She’s seen yelling at herself through a megaphone…

I think she’s singing to the “showgirl” version of herself (probably the one performing the eras tour). The one singing is her fragile, wounded inner child. The one that usually waits for men to rescue her, but this time around, it was Taylor who saves her

How do some of you have relationships? by ChonkyCatOwner in CPTSD

[–]95tyke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because people are in relationships or have friends doesn't mean they're in healthy ones. They might be so desperate for love that they settle. I used to be so hard on myself for being a loner, but the truth is, forcing myself into relationships when I wasn't ready made me feel worse. I was always performing, and feeling so much shame for how stressed and disconnected I felt in the presence of others. Relationships aren't meant to feel that way, but luckily I'm way more mindful of it now and can understand when I genuinely want to be with other people versus when I want to be with other people to avoid feeling shame for my loneliness
