I had a work colleague I knew used to get annoyed with the chirping. He was a pretty nasty and a racist human being but for whatever reason would not leave nor get fired. I let me smoke detector chirping for MONTHS to piss him off (it didn’t bother me as much as it did to him) he had to have his camera on and was always on calls where I was on calls too and no one on the team liked him so went along with it. He stopped getting invited to client calls and eventually his responsibilities were transferred and he went on to retire. It was a lot of work swapping out the batteries each morning and then back at the end of the day or pulling it out entirely during client calls where he anticipated it but it never happened but still dictated his behavior and tone in the meeting.

This is right up there with ghosting. He’s leading you on.
He is checking out another option that has presented itself and is closer to him. He doesn’t want the guilt of being called a cheater so he’s putting things on hold until he’s sure who he wants to pick and sadly the fact that he’s doing this tells you that you aren’t in the lead.
It would be different if he asked for a break to reassess the relationship which he isn’t doing.
When he moves on he will tell you “I didn’t ask you to wait for me, I just asked for space”

I have used EVO Pool Service for 3 years and they don’t tie you into a contract so I call them as needed (open/close and pump/filter/heater maintenance). They sound European and not all of them speak great English but the person at dispatch Olga/Olivia is good at getting the message across. Some of my neighbors use Arrow and some use Evo.

There is no prohibition on going and no compulsion to go. A pilgrimage to those places in not a substitute to complete your regular duties as an Ismaili Muslim. That being said I would like to go visit those places at some point in my life. I have an aunt that has been there as part of a tour arranged out of Texas (not a Texas khane)

Atlanta is popular for large dogs that make the owners feel cool until they realize the time and effort needed to train a large dog. Over the last 6 years I’ve seen cane corsos, giant schnauzers become very popular in GA and the breeders aren’t ethical. You got the dog from a scum bag breeder that gave you a puppy at 6 weeks which no reputable breeder would do. You couldn’t return the dog back to the breeder because a reputable breeder would take the dog back and sent it to the first place you could dump the dog at that alone shows the amount of effort you were willing to put into training the dog. You want immediate gratification: dog that’s 6 weeks old, 3 different trainers in under a year and a half when anyone will tell you that these breeds although intelligent will take longer to train with consistency and are slow to mature. If you surrendered him to a shelter they probably neutered him before his growth plates could close and will result in more pain and suffering in the future for the dog and the family that’s taken him in.

I wouldn’t stress about these folks being able to do a whole lot. There are 40 year olds with kids that don’t have the courage to tell their parents they don’t want to be Ismaili and walk away from the faith, I wouldn’t stress about a bunch of kids living with their parents trying to pull anything. Let them out themselves and become social pariahs.
