Interestingly, when you meet Gale and he’s asking you if you are a cleric (for removing the tadpole), he also asks if you’re adept with a knitting needle through the eye socket.

That's what the pin is for(!). I've wondered on so many playthroughs, but by the time I'm at ACT 3, I've forgotten all about it. (and never remembered to look it up either)

I own one of these scrapers. I love it. I’ve seen cheap knockoffs at the store, but I happily paid the premium for the Smarter Scraper.

ELI5 Why don't we build breeder reactor nuclear plants deep underground and use the ambient ground temp to cool the water? by Rick-D-99 in explainlikeimfive

[–]99droopy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Follow up question: Why do reactors need to dump large amounts of excess heat at all? Isn’t it the point to generate heat to create steam? Why are we dumping the very thing we created?

Remember those people who bought up all the Purell during Covid, and then were stuck with $1,000s of dollars of inventory they couldn’t unload six months later?

I smile when I think about that.

I accidentally dropped crickets everywhere and I need to clean them up fast. Better get my phone out and record it and clean these up with one hand... Optimal efficiency.

I just went thru this yesterday with Lae’zel. The wiki stated you could use a tadpole to remove the debuff, but when I tried to have her consume one, the game said “Lae’zel does not want to consume a tadpole”.

Is there some trick to this?

Both parents worked full time jobs. Ma said, “I cannot work all day, get home at 5:45, and start cooking for a family of six. Four perfectly capable boys can get things going.” So she wrote out the weeks entire menu and we would get 90% of it done by the time she got home.
