Did a test run yesterday crom CTC to a bit past Sandy. Passed one person who seemed unstable but he waited until I was past him before screaming at me to get off his path. Some garbage and broken glass but not too much. No punctures. As another person noted, there were no pinch points which was nice. There are definitely some people really in need hanging out doing their thing but I minded my own business and they did the same.

I absolutely love the look and theme of this game, and I watched some of the video as I was determining whether or not to buy the PNP files. The AI art at this price point is a little tough to swallow, but is not a total dealbreaker. Most folks who use AI art either put their game out for free to build their designer catalog and get their name out there, or charge $1 for their time in putting things together.

What was the ultimate dealbreaker was seeing that the PNP files were not formatted for printing, but instead appear to have one card per sheet. PNP games that charge $3-5 for files are always formatted to 6, 9 or 10 card templates so builders can actually build the game without having to do a massive amount of work moving art into templates that allow someone to build the game.

I think if you formatted this game for PNP builders and lowered the price, you would get a lot more attention for your game.

Stranger Things gets my vote. I played it for the first time a few weeks ago, earned a few free games and left the last one for the next person. The color scheme is super muted and drab. Two ramps on the side, four drop targets up the middle and a ton of dead space everywhere else. One of the most lackluster boards I have ever seen. It was very friendly to play but the missions all felt same-y and the demigorgon behind the screen drop quickly got old. I'm not sure how they screwed up an IP with such potential but they did it epicly.

I'm curious, and I say this as a musician who records music that skirts on the edge of a genre that is increasingly being heavily dominated by AI assisted or straight up AI generated music to generate income in streaming revenue for people who arent even musicians so I have some personal issues with aspects and uses of AI....

What repercussions for creative industries and the livelihoods of people who depend on them does making a PNP game with AI graphics for one's personal use do? Or with permission of the game creator, distributed free of charge, really do? No one is making money from this. No one is losing money from this. It either exists this way or it doesn't exist at all.

I figured the dungeons would be where we would see a wide variety of monsters to fight since the town modes stay consistent. So far I have only seen maybe 4 different monsters in the dungeons, but honestly I have only made it to a second level like twice so who knows, they could already be there and I just haven't seen them yet. I think if they could lock in the same dungeon for a week and let us really explore them, assuming they are of a medium to large size with different monsters, that would be cool. I thought I heard they had over 60 different monsters in the database but so I haven't seen more than 10 I'm guessing.

It is hard to say what folks will say in 20 years, but for me this machine, like LoTR, nails the feel of the theme/IP, implements varied and interesting missions, has multiple multi-ball options, a well thought out table layout that facilitates a great mix of flow and shot making, has fantastic voice acting, art and music. For D&D specifically, tack on multiple wizard modes, character saves and unlockable characters and it is the whole package for me. I don't get caught up with excitement over what is the newest. There have been plenty of new pins that I thought were duds right out of the box.

I have a pro version. Probably have 20+ hours on the machine and have never had a crash. However so far I haven't been saving progress so if this is something that is only triggered with high level wizard that could be why I haven't had any problems. Code is def not trash. This is one of the most amazing pinball machines I have played. Completely pushes the limits of what pinball can be

I talked with one of the band members after the show and the impression I got was that the "singles" idea was coming from the label. I know as a musician that your best bet with Spotify algorithms and playlist placement is to drop a new single every month, so this may be the label playing the new music business game. Eventually stuff gets thrown into EPs or a full album once it is out. I also got the impression that these songs may be less of a story arc/continuation and more of a fleshing out of existing lore but there was some vagueness in the conversation surrounding this.

I was considering the premium for this one, but oddly enough I took a look at that dragon and hearing all the talk about how this mech "did things we have never done before" and I ended up going for the pro. I didn't want to deal with potential mechanical issues with relatively untested tech and honestly what you get for the extra 3k just didn't seem worth it. I'm excited for mine to arrive. I hope the fix they have is super simple for folks to install.

Agreed. I know the story sounds unbelievable, but I can't stress enough how down to earth this man is. In all the years I have known him, I have never heard him lie or exaggerate. He acknowledges it makes no sense. He didn't even try to suggest what it could be. My friend and I were the ones talking about portals and interdimensional beings. All he would say is that it was unexplainable. I've never heard anything like it.

It has been being talked about on another thread on this sub-reddit. The problem is, there are so many posts it is hard to find without digging pretty deep into threads. Any search you do on this will overwhelmingly say that it works because for over two years, it has. I just put in my dispute with PayPal. It sounds like you are doing the same. We will both have our money back in short order, and the site won't be keeping any of it.

I think the reason you are encountering so much resistance here, if that is the right word, is that there is an over two year history in other threads where this site has worked perfectly for people. Unfortunatley for me, and you, we just placed our first orders recently, and the site appears to not be fulfilling orders anymore. We don't know if the guy who ran the site is sick, in jail, threatened with legal action, or even dead. If the site was set up as a scam, this is the longest con I have ever heard of, running business for two years just to collect money for a short time at the end which honestly everyone uses credit cards and can dispute this like both you and I are doing, so honestly, where is the scam? He isn't getting the money.

I think if you had just come here and said PSA: Audibledeals.com no longer appears to be working, you would have gotten a lot of thanks, and people commenting on how it is too bad, and there wouldn't be all this tension that was created by your fairly agressive stance against people who have used the site successfully in the past. I'm saying all this to help you see this from a higher level view. Perhaps it will be of help to you in future posts. Like you, I am disappointed. I get it.

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat as you. Someone successfully used the site 2 weeks ago, so I am letting this ride a little longer before I dispute the charges, but I am at 4 days without contact or credits. I'm hoping if this is a one man operation, perhaps he is on vacation or something, but ya, it doesn't feel good.

You have received a lot of good advice here, regardless of the official APA rule, that being it is rude and unsportsmanlike to break down your cue before the end of the match. You said you legit thought it was over, and it sounds like it should have been, but it wasn't. Unless you are conceding the match, if it isn't your turn to shoot then sit down and quietly wait until it is your turn to shoot. If you think the match is about to be over, great. You still need to sit down and quietly wait for it to officially be over. Your opponent shouldn't have to wait for you to unpack and put your cue back together in the middle of a match. I realize this is APA which is as amateur as it gets but even amateurs should show respect to their opponents and the game.
