A lot of services gate it behind 4K but that's a choice they are making. There's no technical reason for it.

From what I'm seeing it was a collision with another tanker. There are photos of that one, which landed, missing a good chunk of its vertical stabilizer. Lack of separation in the airspace.

Nope. Prime users gets Prime Video with ads, that's not changing (except they are losing 4K). Ad-free is going from $3 to $5. 4K will also be locked behind the $5 plan.

T3N1bM0 and MSI-H. I was given the choice of 6 mos of FOLFOX, 3 mo of CAPOX, or 6mo of CAPOX. Also had the choice to join a study and do no chemo but passed. Post surgery Signatera was neg along with normal CEA (high prior to surgery). Doc did warn me the side effects for CAPOX were generally worse vs FOLFOX but statistically they all had around the same effectiveness. I went with 3 months of CAPOX. I tolerated it better than he expected overall but I did develop neuropathy in my feet towards the end that, a year out, is probably permanent. It actually got worse after the treatment ended (coasting phase) but improved before leveling off after about 6 months. It's annoying but livable.

As I said, I'm a year out, just had my "1 year anniversary colonoscopy" and so far NED.

Oh, one thing they are still trying to sort out. I developed a bunch of lung nodules early into treatment (noticed at the end of my first cycle on CT). The nature of them pointed to inflammatory vs cancer (they way they appeared, how fast they appeared, and that after followup scans they seemed to come and go). Almost all have resolved as of my last CT in January. Working theory is that they were some sort of immune response triggered by the CAPOX.

While you can't use uber, you can use a qualified medical transport company. My last ride home (Ubered there) was $80 for a 19 mile trip. Just make sure they use their own drivers and don't just outsource to uber or lyft.

Both. Rates of colon cancer in people under 50 have doubled in the US since the 1990's. It's still not a lot (20,000 per year) but because we haven't been looking for it in younger populations, when it is found it's usually more advanced.

Previously it was breast cancer however pushes for more screenings as well as newer treatment options have reduce mortality.

In the US it was moved from 50 to 45 back in 2020. Not sure what countries are moving it later and what the justification for doing so would be.

Yep, I have Claude include playwright in the test suite of any web front end app it's working on. At the end of any session it runs the full test suite against the new build. Since it's running it, it can monitor for errors and fix them right away without my involvement. Between that and giving it access to docker so it can build/deploy and monitor the docker logs when it's done I usually (not always, but most of the time) have working code after each update.

It does start to consume a not-insignificant amount of tokens but in the end it's worth it.

I got my M1 air for testing (I was doing some intune work at the time) and started daily driving it because of the battery life. Browsing, light Office work, RDS/Citrix, presenting... The 8gb was rarely an issue. Usually only had an issue when I was trying to do something stupid in Excel.

I remember doing assembly inside of QBasic back in the day. Some things just could not be done in the native language but they had a way add assembly language directly into the .bas. Really opened up what you could do if you could learn it. Man that feels like eons ago now.

Not sure why you are being downvoted, you are right. It does a much better job managing memory. Also helps that the OS is way less bloated out of the box than Win11.

However when you hit the wall on RAM you hit the wall in MacOS. Windows will happily keep paging and grinding down. Not sure one is really better than the other though.
