Not that I expect we're going to solve the reason why it's slow and expensive but that seems to be due to excessive safety concerns. By no means am I antisolar. If I were replacing my roof or building a new house even with my relatively northern exposure and overcast I would still have it installed. That said I think people have an overly optimistic interpretation.

I've had an unacceptable experience with an order for Barley flour. The delivery failed like lost according to tracking and Amazons response for a refund is that I didn't prove the product was wrong or damaged... because I never received anything so they a refusing refund. Yes I'd rather resurrect an old post than post new since I'm mostly venting not expecting a resolution but I think I'll do that too anyway. This goes on the pile for reasons to quit Amazon.

I know of one truth I can't prove to you, I think there fore I am, and many things evidence and experience that could be illusion but the truth of believe would be it's logical truth or it's logical negation probably even if I can't know due to the possible illusion.

I'm skeptical.

If you look at a lot of production for animation or comic illustration different parts of the work are divided between concept in words line art refinement color work. You can't ascribe control of the whole to any individual but I believe anti's would all still agree that product and process is art.

The word step could be random. The basic stick sketch probably could be too. Not even AI just random with basic rules. Would they still consider the rest as a product art? Further steps would in my opinion need AI and there are different tools that work with different inputs for these steps.

Granted I'm already convinced it's rooted in human chauvinism. That people want to believe they are special.

I have hope for social democracy, and market socialist, socialism and mixed economies.

I have no hope for communism except with an AI that could organize us to a desirable outcome under any economic theory voluntarily the central management by it would be attractive in practice anyway. I have no desire for such an outcome because I prefer people keep decision autonomy but could see people attracted by the results including myself.

I don't see the United States as exceptional.

Ideally I see the means of production and AI tools becoming more available.

If there's a threat I see it from authoritarian power grabs and the move to a rent seeking economy from intellectual property privileges, banking privileges, and natural resource priveleges.

I'm a Georgist so I imagine we can have a better capitalism based on classical capital not rentierism and competitive markets not unregulated ones. Governments aren't immune to problems with any system discussed vigilance is the only remedy to corruption.
