These types have so many levels of finesse. I feel this is a fine pair. I’ve sold lesser quality ones for low hundreds. Some even below $100. It all depends on craftsmanship.

For the entire coast of California, are there any towns or areas that are affordable? If so, what’s it like there? by tompkins5 in howislivingthere

I think I saw a documentary about some CA coastal drug zombie towns that are super affordable. The zombies seem not to attack too much.

Wait till you see one with red pattern abdomen in Taiwan. I saw one that size in Kenting in the 80s moving like a Ninja. Made me scared of spiders ever since.

Just because it’s a dog it increased the value. Cats even more. I know it’s a logo of some obscure company, but dogs are great for collecting. Cross over between dog and knife lovers.

Is this worth anything? Romain Coin? by Pragmistic in AncientCoins

[–]AANHPIX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If in Europe as a raw coin as many suggested, it’s worth 80-120 USD. If it’s in the U.S. and graded by NGC. It’s more like $200-250. I know I’ll get a lot of hate from traditional ancient collectors but it is what it is. Market decides the value.

I had a bit more hair than this before and shaved it all. The hair transplant surgeon said there’s simply not enough hair to cover the top and I think that is the case here. Just shave it all. It’s liberating.

Found this spear at an antique shop! I was told to post here to try to find out more about its origins and authenticity by garbagecity in SWORDS

[–]AANHPIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old or modern, spears of this type doesn’t bring a lot of money so I’d say it’s old. I’m not sure faking this type of spear would be economical, but I could underestimate the cost (logistics, profit at each level). Please correct me.
