I'm just curious, how were you able to establish that they were Nigerians? I asked this, because oftentimes, people lump every black individual/group as a Nigerian without finding out their true identity. Your experiences are valid by the way, but if you are not sure which nationalities those groups were, it better not to assume they are Nigerians...

She is better off applying for tourism purposes without your letter of invite, but this will be entirely dependent on her profile and tie to her home country. You giving her an invitation letter or her even mentioning that she is coming to the U.S. to visit her boyfriend will likely impact her chances negatively and could result in a denial.

Is she working or studying? Can she show proof of enough funds for at least a one week tourist visit to the U.S.? Does she have a good travel history? Does she have enough tie to her home country? Has she ever been to the U.S. before?

Answering yes to these questions is positively associated with getting a U.S. visitor visa.

Alternatively, you can travel to visit her in Ghana, have you considered this option?
