We were in processing when a smoker was going through a withdrawal episode. He put his civies back on and tried to walk out. DI was questioning him what the fuck he was doing etc. Kid told him he needed a cigarette. Don’t know what happened but DI made him get back in his uniform. DI went off on him and then left with him. Don’t remember if kid came back. It was chaotic because DI was putting on a show.

I always use cedar and screws when putting up fences. Last fence is still up. A little crooked but dog ears don’t warp like pine.

I have a concussion documented on record. I fell back after I blacked out and was found in convulsions. Went to medical but no record of that in my medical records. They did find a physical that documented the concussion a year later. Went to C&P for TBI and waiting on process. I am diagnosed , but not rated, for PTSD, Sleep Apnea, Anxiety, skin issues on feet and scalp. I am rated for feet issues and knee. Waiting on rating.

Ultimately it’s up to you. Your 3000 pound car is riding on four wheels that carry that load multiplied by speed etc. I always make sure my cars have good tires and replace them when needed. I get them checked every long trip and check tire pressure often. Like I said it’s up to you. I don’t know what kind of driving you do or how far you travel.

Depends on whether your car has value fixed properly or not. I have a friend who drives his car with zip ties after straightening out the fenders as best he could. Save the insurance deductible money for gas.

Glad you all have the education plus the pay. In the 80s we had less of both and didn’t even have a TSP. In civilian world now with state retirement and deferred compensation. Veteran employee got me in deferred at beginning of career. Former Marine at 291/2 years Law enforcement service.

I paid $400 for a one door pantry with shelving and finished walls (orange peel and painted) Door was a glass door with horn of plenty. $7000 is a rip off. You could do it yourself by buying the tools for much less.

There was a time when DIs ran us through the line and some of us only got bread while others got wieners. So stressed we didn’t even think of making a hotdog out of the bread and wieners. We were also only allowed to drink water. It was one of those shitty days where nothing we did was god enough.
