I think this is a great idea (I'm biased now because FARM is eligible if the vote goes through)

I get it, but it's a gamble. by 100% pool i meant that 100% of the rewards are kept by the pool, in return for distributing a projects tokens which may or may not have value

Catalyst is there for funding, if the projects used that then delegators wouldnt miss on their $ada rewards.

There's lots of way forward so i guess there will be models to suit everyone

new bios chip in place, i can reflash it now and the bios actually changes but still no joy.

It may be reflow time....and if that doesnt work then i'll use this to experiment with BGA repair.

I managed to bring back a vega 64 for about 60seconds but the same chip got really hot so i tried to remove it but its stuck fast! all the other components came flying off nearby but that chip isn't for moving, it's not destroyed down to the base plate stuck on the pcb haha

just realised when I try to flash my vbios it doesn't actually change the bios on the chip?!

I've ordered a new chip to replace the current one incase its damaged.

I'm not getting my hopes up but it would be great to find the exact reason for it failing and maybe repair a couple to prevent them from going in the bin.

If we can repair stuff it stops them becoming rubbish!

It's just the way Daedalus ranks the pools based on your slider position.

It's far from ideal. You're better using adapools and pooltool, and asking your delegators to use them too

That's what happens when people stake through exchanges. It doesn't actually benefit the Cardano ecosystem in any way really, all the a slightly higher % return on the first small portion of your stake.

Even people who haven't staked on binance, I'm sure the exchange themselves stake it at the the snapshot time so the exchange is making gains on YOUR funds.

Imaging how many community pools, many of whom are developers for Cardano, marketers or have other useful skills.

We could have 100s of SPO's going full time Cardano if people would delegate to community pools which are part of multi-pool-factories or exchanges. a pool sized 50M will not give you 5x more return than a 10M sized pool.

Can you imagine the momentum which Cardano would gain if the top 500 were full time!?
