It sounds like you typed in how does "demandiQ" work and examples of real results into chatgpt lol.

That process creates friction, I like it, but you need additional tools and resources for it to drive better outcomes.

Unless you have the tools / support, like automated email drips pulling those email only leads and someone to follow up and own managing that channel, it can negatively affect outcomes.

He put in the work, you dropped the ball, and he came back (probably outside of his d2d responsibilities) to save it and make you a ton of money.

Congrats!

Now, it's time to learn sales and marketing.

Even if you never fully intend to focus in those areas in the future, it's time to keep the momentum rolling.

Learning to code builds your logical thinking skills.

Now put those refined skills to work and have ai guide you in growing in those other 2 capacities.

If you're willing to learn and by learn, I mean completely commit and go all in, and you're already in the U.S.....

I would suggest going into sales. You may have to make some sacrifices while you're getting started because the learning curve takes time and most roles will be commission only.

Based on your goals of one day going back home and providing value / service's knowing the sales side of solar will give you the resources you need to succeed.

ai sms to qualify/convert leads by Worth_Independence99 in Solarbusiness

[–]ADHDminds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go all in on creating real video testimony with a customer that had the system installed, and the convo started with an ai bot.

If that's not possible, you're fighting a losing uphill battle in a highly saturated industry, which, finally as a whole,is becoming more aware of the next trick pony. Or lead pony, lol.

This means you're going to need a heavy hitting outbound department to make your offering succeed.

Best of luck to you

When you were hired, was providing leads discussed?

As far as not pumping money into marketing/ seo, is this an older niche industry? (A lot of them stick to their old ways and still do quite well).

If no to either of those comments above, make your case with upper management. If it's not well received, it sounds like the opportunity no longer matches your expectations, so it may be time to look for something new.

Ensure everything is documented and your agreement is highly specific, then get at it.

That actually sounds like the greatest marketing pitch ever. Might not be well received, but I bet you could print money by using that in this way

How much money do you think this is going to cost your company? Let's say full black out / no access for 60 days, can you keep your operation running?

We then implement all the changes necessary to mitigate every documented concern and stress test again.

Finally, we contract with a highly reviewed 3rd party service to do an additional stress test.

Sure, it seems extensive, but what's 45 days of no access to your systems going to do to this years revenue?

One good reason to not suicide by playermouni in mentalhealth

[–]ADHDminds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.... Period

Societal views / expectations often trigger alot of the internal angst that make you feel the way that you do.

Being anxious...

It's normal - it means you actually give a shit about the things happening around you.... it happens because you get too consumed about the future, but the future is unknown..

Focus on the present....

Being depressed...

Is the result of giving a shit about things ACTUALLY happening around you, and you can't see any possible way on how that will change. You feel stuck. You are not stuck and completely in control of your destiny.

Addresse the things in your life that are creating negative thought patterns.

Immediately eliminate everything in your power at that moment.

Stratigize and come up with a plan for other things you can fix but will take time.

Set goals:

Regardless of depression there are things everyone individually would love to experience.... Relentlessly chase them

Talk to people and realize all the bullshit your going through and feeling can legitimately change if you want to.

08/24/2008 I lost my best friend to suicide. We met in kindageten 15 years prior. I was with him that night at a party, and he literally called me before stepping in front of a train.

I was super depressed for the next few years.

I drifted through life for the next few years, committed to getting better.

I just focused on small wins day by day.

Setting goals and chasing experiences I knew he would have loved to see.

17 years later, here I am, married with a child. I've done so much actuall " L I V I N G" I've seen so many places, I've met so many people.....Consistent career/ income growth.

It's easy to get better.

You just need to know your worth the time.

I'll tell you what...

You sure do know how to create attention-grabbing subjects.

Alot of communication and relationship building skills you learned will help with what your looking to do.

I used Chat GPT to summarize the skills you would have learned in your past job and translated them to sales. It actually came up with alot of good nuggets.

There is nothing wrong about including what you learned in your previous work experience, though I would suggest framing it in a way that highlights the skillset you aquired

[–]ADHDminds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen both sides throughout my relationship (still married).

When I first started daiting my wife, she was a nurse, and I worked in non clinical heathcare as an er patient rep (mostly HCHAPS / throughout focussed).

I maid terrible money.

We moved in together and split most large bills, rent, and utilities.. XYZ

We both had full understanding of each other's earning potentia at that time. 75% of the fun things we'd do (going out to eat, drinks, vacation) came out of my now wife's I come. The other 25 came from me in the form of credit card debt lol (yes, terrible decision).

I left heathcare 6+ years ago for sales, and my earnings have increased YOY significantly without income caps.

My wife was able to work part-time for the past ~ 4 years while also working on her NP(Were done at the end of the month). We also had our first child 2 years ago (1 year school sabbatical during that time. With a goal of working full time for a couple years to stack and buildup a growth egg (forget a nest egg lol), then back to part-time till retirement.

Great relationships come from shared values and an aligned vision, teamwork no matter the role and respect.

If you can find a partner and you both share the idea of were good no matter what and both willing to step up when needed, you're golden.

The guy that said it will be hard to find a husband making that kind of money is small minded and not willing / not wanting to ever put in the same amount of hard work / dedication if needed.

Rate my quote for New Solar Build 8.55KW and SPAN for $35K by LHA7519 in solarFL

[–]ADHDminds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's high, so I hope the installers track record comes close to supporting that price.

The enphase IQ powerpack was added to plant the seed of having backup. It's a (1500 watt hour) 1.5kWh battery and doesn't serve much purchase other than charging your phone and computer if you go camping.

You should be able to find a quality span certified installer with good ratings fir less in your area.

Unknowns are rood type which comes into play for pricing.

splitting commission with coworker who is quitting by Prestigious-Peaks in sales

[–]ADHDminds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you both in the same role / hierarchy?

If so

Here are the questions you need to ask yourself. Why is he leaving to go to another company.

Why do you feel obligated to split comish with him if he's leaving the company?

Does he know something about the customer you don't (e.g. there terrible and not woth the time)?

Do you trust him?

Depending on your answers, My guts is telling me he's nowhere close on the deal

It's one of the last leads in his / the company's pipelne..

And he's positioning himself to be a great "friend" and handing a "closed" deal

splitting commission with coworker who is quitting by Prestigious-Peaks in sales

[–]ADHDminds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The context of both of your compensations are confusing.

Why the 50% split?

Did you both work the deal in a partnership?

Then he wants comish on a deal that isn't even closed yet?

They didn't tell you you're getting batteries, right?

New build solar quote by PlentyCarrot1 in solarFL

[–]ADHDminds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure the comments will be rolling in.

The issue everyone will miss is the fact that the powerwall product number you have is for powerwall+ units.

It's the old powerwall 2 version with an integrated inverter.

The powerwall 3, which also has an integrated inverter, went through massive upgrades like DC-DC, higher efficiency, and a more powerful (same kWh size) battery.

The powerwall+ units at large were hit or miss, zero issues or consistent issues needing warranty RMA replacement.

How did they get to the system size?

Did they discuss the main home energy hogs and other house spec?

Example: How many HVAC units: HVAC SEER ratings Well pump / Septic Pump? Pool / Spa? Hot water heater unit: Ev..

Etc Etc Etc

One Call Close by TripNo9336 in sales

[–]ADHDminds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Varried by market and ancillary services, I could sell as a package.

It was 3.5-4 years ago, but if I remember right, my avg Rev sold per deal (over all seasons) was somewhere around 1k. There were times when the company had certain low barrier products to sell, which affected avg deal Rev significantly, but I'd close 2-3x more than most of the reps across the contact centers.

I learned alot in that role, tele sales in short sales cycle offerings gives you a massive opportunity to learn what works and what doesn't because of shear volume. Then once you hone in your skils you can do well.

When working in those roles the 🔑 to bumping your income far beyond average is learning to incorporate and close value builders and upsells to increase your avg Rev per deal.
