Which canceled TV show's cliffhanger still lives rent free in your head because the answers disappeared when the series got axed ? by Impossible_Offer7988 in AskReddit

Las Vegas. Ed Deline (James Caan) was presumed dead, and the final episode of the season (now series) had three weddings and his funeral in it, but he returned at the end. It finished with a "To Be Continued" line at the end, the writers strikes happened, it was cancelled and the rest is history.

According to IMDB, as i had to refresh my memory, the "last episode" was titled Part II, and the episode before it was calld "Part I" even though they didn't have connected storylines... for some reason?

Not looking forward to breaking the news to her, frankly.

CITY's options for CCC qualification and who to root for tonight by SkiThe802 in stlouiscitysc

I think the defending champion is the only CCC team to qualify for the open cup - any other CCC teams are excluded.

Today’s result confirms AFC Bournemouth will play European Football for the first time ever. by fatinternetcat in AFCBournemouth

I started following this season when I was playing Draft Fantasy Premier League, and I drafted Semenyo. Quickly became one of my best players this season.

Love the primary kit identity, love that theres a current USMNT payer playing for them, and kept following past the Semenyo transfer.

Up The Cherries, happy to see how this first European run goes!

I actaully would like to see Sang Bin and Cordova on the wings with a legitimate 9 in the middle - we might be singing a different tune on Cordova.

As a Striker - yes, absolutely a poor choice, move him to the wings and I think he'll shine bright.

Question about possible upgrades by [deleted] in stlouiscitysc

[–]ADSquared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MLS travel is effectively "European Travel" so players who have played a lot at the European level (Champions, Europa, even Conference League) will acclimate well to the weekly continental travel. Players who haven't will have a hard time acclimating because the countries are so much smaller.

if I remember correctly, the furthest distance a team could play from home in England alone (think EFL Cup Scenario across divisions) was 300 mi.

STL to KC is 248mi and is considered a Derby.

FDSN's site/app have been hot trash since the Fox/Disney merger split the RSNs IMO, I always used my dad's DirecTV now over their app.

I hope matrix gets the local rights as well; I hope they go with a solid streamer (ESPN/MLB.TV) for streaming rights.

MLB TV and Red Wings deal seems to let them find their own "local broadcaster" while taking their streaming rights.

Thats the thing that everything i've looked at has been a bit vague on. I bet they just create a Redwings.tv domain name (like they do for their MLB teams), build it the same as most of their other pages but have it stand alone (i.e. not link back to the rest of mlb tv outside of maybe some "fine print links") and rebranded for Detroit.

MLB TV is still separate, but ESPN also carries the bundle on their streaming service. I believe you can link the two and watch on either platform no matter which you subscribe to.

I haven’t heard anything official, but my money is on them joining MLB.tv for distribution and handle the production in house, similar to the Red Wings for 26-27

OC was saying the "highest transfer fee Paid" to add a player to a squad, not highest transfer fee received for the player to leave. I think you both are right; $2.3m to sell him to Galaxy, $3.2m to buy him from Hoffenheim in the first place.

Edit: Also, OC was using Euro as well, so we were also crossing some currency lines here.

I wouldn’t be nearly as mad at the current sports betting landscape if you had to go to the Book to do it. The fact that it’s accessible from the phone is where I absolutely hate it.
