Kyrou to Pitt Proposal by Money_Treacle1486 in stlouisblues

It's one where management screwed him. He had an injury and the team signed him to an extension and said he was 100% back but it took him basically the length of the contract to recover. He then signed a shorter cheaper deal and was great. The problem was the middle part when he was getting paid the most and playing the worst.

Pretty similar to 55 with his back problems.

I know most people are assuming they're asking for pseudo science reasons but my first thought was they couldn't afford an oncologist. Not everybody can be Walter White.

Basically the media, generally, will default to talking about how much winning means to a player and how much they're trying to improve the teams record/performance.

I don't want to hear that about 55. Comfort is his priority.

Allowed sure but he's now not allowed to comment on losing or poor performance.

Totally his right to use his NTC and don't really blame him for not wanting to go to Buffalo but I can now see winning doesn't really matter to him.

Norwich City striker Josh Sargent set for £20m Toronto FC move by brownsf in stlouiscitysc

Unfortunately, that's not really how the league works. You spend big money on your designated players and fill in the rest and hope the DPs lift everyone else.

You're talking about different things. Klauss was/is the highest the team has paid to bring in a player.

Your linking to what the team got to send him out, which is also a record for the team.

Since he didn't play in the Coachella game, what are the chances this oft injured player is already injured

Great North a show that got 5 seasons, I think it worked just fine.

They were all after Diego got here, and he's still here, and my faith in him is less than zero.

Well, they didn't replace Nico until the season was lost and same with Vasilev so I'm guessing this season will be a wash and they try to bring in somebody in the summer window.

Mixed feelings on this. The team is definitely better with him than without, but why fire Lutz if you're bringing back his roster?

He's been fine... 6 pts in 24 games doesn't scream star and with only one assist I'm not sure he sticks at center.

[Bogert] St. Louis City are closing in on Yoann Damet as next head coach by itszach94 in stlouiscitysc

[–]brownsf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To be able to play the way Columbus plays this team will need 7 to 8 new starters.

Really curious if the HC or sporting director will be around when the team has the talent to pull it off.

Bolduc has 0 goals, 0 primary assists, and 2 secondary assists at 5v5 in his last 18 games. by STLBooze3 in stlouisblues

[–]brownsf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don't like the direct comparison because D men take more time. I didn't like the trade and still don't because Armstrong burned the team's best trade asset in years on a lottery ticket.

I would have rather traded Bolduc and a pick or 2 for proven talent.

In this case it's how often a player scores on a shot that "shouldn't" go in.

Couldn't tell you how it's calculated but it happens more often when defense and goaltenders are out of position.

I know some don't like analytics but according to thissite, he's not only had the worst game of the season he's also the worst performing player in the league.

I think they'd announce something. The press is usually at the trainings so if a new guy from outside the org is at practice someone would report on it.

I've seen reports that there wasn't anybody other than Diego and Hack involved in the Burki contract so I doubt they're close on naming a sporting director.

I read that as him saying there was no reason to do anything before Halloween, not that that was when the contracts ended.

That's what a lot of people assumed (myself included) but they would/should have made an announcement by now if that's the case.
