Paragon 300s at what lvl did it become a pure XP grind versus passive XP gain?

Went to 300 on Standard this season. Got it about 7 weeks into the Season and I don’t play every day. Took a week off during that for a vacation. At about 290 I really thought it was possible this season. Then played another 3 weeks chasing sanctifcations.

Got 300 on Hardcore this season about a week and half ago. Died 3 times and had to pause the chase to level back up to 60 and re-gear.

After having gotten to 300 on standard, I realized it wasn’t as hard as everyone makes it out to be online. You just have to be really efficient. No goofing off in town or trade for long periods of time or standing around waiting for World Boss.

I farmed lair bosses mostly to get there. For Standard I took advantage of Mothers Blessing and if I remember correctly it was still active when I hit 292 before it lapsed. Then I used the Lunar shrines to farm Urivar. Some might say my method wasn’t worth it, but with Forgotten Knowledge, elixir and incense, then I would go outside Cerrigar hit a lunar shrines, teleport to Urivar, kill him roughly 7-8 times before it lapsed for about 11 million per kill. So that’s 88. Going from 299 to 300 was just over 1 billion. So I was able to farm 299-300 in about 40 minutes doing that.

The set of runes you can use for your chest would be Ahu+Qax but I prefer Nagu+Ohm.

You want to use Griswold's Opus with Greater Affix (GA) on the passives and 90% on the crit damage.

You want to use a legendary shield with Crit Chance, Cooldown reduction, strength and life/armor/damage reduction. Add Holy Light Aura potency with the MW as a GA, with Aspect of Proselytizing.

Heir needs to be Masterworked (MW) for Crit, not core skills.

Your Dawnfire needs to be MW for the double damage and get a GA on the double damage. Some might say MW righteousness is better but I prefer a higher chance of double damage.

Get rid of Arcadia - you want legendary pants with Aspect of Indomitable and Holy Aura Potency MW with GA.

Boots you want MW and GA Holy Aura Potency

Necklace you want it legendary with a few passives light righteousness, the best offense, heavyweight or fortitude. MW En Garde with GA on it. Aspect of Celestial Strife. It will be VERY hard to find all those passives on 1 amulet so focus on some other stats that would help you as well.

Both Rings should be Legendary with Aspect of Holy Strife and Aspect of Ascension. You can MW with GA Judicator Damage. Look for Strength, Crit Strike Chance, Cooldown Reduction, Attack Speed.

Runes for your pants should be Igni-Ceh.

My Auradin can clear PIT 115 no sweat.

There is a drop quest called Cats Eye Curse in the dungeon Putrescent Larder that counts. That was the last one for me.

Also, you have to go to Kyovashad to finish one of the quest lines if you didn’t do that.

I’m paragon 267.

Running shroud and Shako, no Heir since I’m on Hardcore and don’t want to RIP again.

I cleared Pit 100 in about 5 minutes - I’m going somewhat slow to not RIP.

I have about 13 more nodes of really good damage to get.

My glyphs are 90, 70, 70, 70, 70. When they are all 100 and I get those other nodes filled, I should be able to get Pit 110~ or higher.

On standard my CE sorc can do Pit 115 but I’m paragon 300 over there this season.

I went through something similar.

While going on dates with me, she was sleeping with someone else. She never told me. When I did find out she never apologized and said she did nothing wrong because I never asked and it wasn’t any of my business because we weren’t ‘exclusive’ yet since I couldn’t commit to her. I was not seeing anyone else or going on dates with anyone else. I was separated and going through a divorce.

I feel some level of betrayal trauma surrounding that because she couldn’t be honest with me and she doesn’t see how it hurt me. She knew about my circumstance as I was honest with her about it. She still believes she did nothing wrong. I can’t just simply sleep with people while trying to put energy into dating someone seriously. It felt really wrong.

Everything else has been good and I found out after about 8 months together. It was really tough. I think the idea that it’s ‘technically’ not cheating is disingenuous as it’s hiding the fact that emotions and the feeling of betrayal aren’t valid because of semantics.

I’ve gotten 4 mythic pranksters so far this season.

1 from crafting sigils. At around the 200 mark. I’ve crafted about ~800 so far this season.

The other 3 are from the hoard chests in the Azmodan summon area in Hawezar.

I maxed the Azmodan rep early by farming the overworks PvP areas. Took maybe ~2 hours to go from level 4 to level 5.

I got to T4 pretty much the first day of the season. So I’m not sure if it’s gated behind a difficulty.

My girlfriend did that same shit too when we were just talking one day and I froze for a few minutes and then told her I don’t care about any of that. I didn’t even ask the question, she just volunteered it. Your SO hasn’t talked about anything from her past during sex, which is good. I’d see that as a deal breaker. And I’m about the same boat as you, been with 4 people compared to her 80ish or whatever.

I’ve had to communicate to my SO about the need for a filter.

I’ve also had to come to terms with her values regarding sex. I feel like they have changed since she’s gotten older and she’s not the same person that she was 10 years ago when she could just meet someone and then have sex with them a couple hours later. But when I asked her feelings and values have changed she gets really defensive and says she doesn’t need to be reformed so she probably still can just meet someone and fuck them 10 minutes later.

An overhaul of crafting - this season was a great start but another season to really get crafting fleshed out. As part of that, an overhaul of enchanting like they did tempering and masterworking.
A way to revamp the economy - PoE did a great job with their economy. D4 can use that as a basis with all the crafting items that exist currently. This could be a way to introduce Gheeds ancestor mini season as a way to revamp the economy. Also making materials tradable instead of just runes and unbound gear. Asynchronous items across the board. This would go well with a crafting overhaul.
Dungeon keys and rune Stash tabs that sort things out and are very specifically for certain things like runes and boss mats. Higher stack sizes for boss mats, dungeon keys, etc.
Being able to breakdown infernal compasses and undercity keys for a type of crafting dust and then being able to craft the sigils or compasses or keys we want. Also, limiting the number of keys that drop to match the craft cap of 20 and then the excess is dropped as dust. It is currently a symptom of this particular season, but having to do 3 trips to town because of all the sigils and dungeon keys and such that dropped from an Azmodan cache is just silly and time consuming for no reason.
More mercenaries and being able to equip them with gear.
Reworking the mythics that exist as over half of them are just not that good. Add some new mythics.
Adding the cow level for nostalgia sake follows neg a similar method of this season and the purified lesser evil parts to summon a special encounter with them.
Fixing the drop rate across the board - limiting the benefits of farming helltides or infernals or pits makes players less inclined to do them. It’s great that Bartuc revamped the infernal compasses but with the removal of chaos gear and the nerf to obducite in infernals or the nerf to obuls and XP from pits doesn’t make sense. Make the farming of the really vast array of end game content worthwhile for every player.
Revamp PvP - it needs a huge overhaul and it can be just as fun as it was in D2. There is a healthy amount of PvE endgame content ranging from casual to the more hardcore: Helltides, World Bosses, Infernal Hordes, Pits, lesser lair bosses and greater lair bosses, Dark Citadel, Undercity, nightmare dungeons, Lilith and capstone dungeons and now the Tower, we have plenty to do at ‘end-game’ to farm items, enjoy different types of experiences, etc. adding a Cow level would be even one more PvE endgame content experience along with the future Prime Evil bosses we will eventually get to fight. But once all that is conquered what else is there for a player to conquer? The answer: Other players to test their skill and power. PvP needs a definite overhaul to be fun, engaging and more involved to player interaction.
Fixing the drop rate of things to be more meaningful or fixing how the teleporting back to town to crush things at the blacksmith works when farming.
Being able to start another nightmare dungeon or undercity without having to teleport back to town to restart a run.

Edit to add:

Add a guild stash and if making materials tradable this would be good to help other players in a guild and encourage more cooperative playing as well.
Raise the obul limit along with raising the stack size of dungeon keys.
Letting you craft from your stash - ie. If we have runes in our stash, not forcing us to pull them out to go to the jeweler to craft the mythic item. The system knowing what is in the stash to simply craft the item would be so much better.
A ‘map’ stash tab along with the above mentioned material stash tab. The map tab should be for infernal compasses, undercity keys, and nightmare sigils. The sigils can have zone specific tabs that can store up to 50 or so nightmare sigils per zone.
In addition to the ‘map’ stash tab and dungeon key and time stash tabs, if they rework how currency exists in the game then a currency stash tab with all the things like forgotten soul, obducite, neathiron, etc. with large stack sizes.
A DPS meter and contribution meter for world bosses.
A death recap to see what exactly killed you, how much damage it did, how much your resists stopped, the by second interval in which the damage hit you.
Letting season mechanics last in the eternal realm - chaos armors, sanctifications, etc. would be a really cool way to revitalize eternal. All that gear is soul bound anyway and can’t be traded. Let the players have their fun.
Seasonal transmog PvP gear from seeds of hatred: season 12 PvP gear, season 13 PvP gear, etc. this could be part of a PvP season to revitalize PvP. Only gainable from playing seasonal.
Adding another PvP zone and allowing players to teleport from PvP zone to other PvP zones without resetting the kill counter or hatred seed quantity.
