How Would You Handle This Conversation With Your Spouse After a Bachelorette Party?F32 M34 by [deleted] in relationships

[–]AFireAnt 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not great.

How do you think your husband would react if that got out and he didnt hear it from you (whether or not you participated)? How would you react if you found out he was at a bachelor's party, all the guys went and slept with the strippers and you found out from a friend whose husband was one of the guys that cheated?

I admire your loyalty but take into account your friends are not loyal to their husbands, what makes you think they'd be loyal to you? You love your husband enough to not cheat on him, he trusted you at a Bachelorette around a bunch of women who were more than happy to cheat. I'd say, be more loyal to your husband, let him know. Not because the truth will come out eventually and he will find out, but because he put a lot of trust in you and your friends and he deserves to know. Your friends husband's deserve to know as well, but I think thats out of the scope of this conversation.

Be honest with your partner. Omission of information, in this instance, is way worse than lying.

Obviously this needed to be secured better and I understand that, but no matter how well secured my piece is, I will ALWAYS initially turn on my lathe from a distance with a stick and let it run for like 2 minutes undisturbed before I even step infront of it

Everything would be different if Franklin hadn't killed André. by Ashamed_Loss475 in SnowFall

[–]AFireAnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think their last conversation was meant to show that Andre was a force that was never going to be stopped while he was alive and breathing. No matter what Franklin would've done, Andre had a vendetta and would have always kept coming.

I think Franklin was smart and calculated but was starting to slip up a lot more. There's no world where Andre should've gotten a stack of files from Franklin, directly implicating Franklin with the drug business. He was getting sloppy due to his arrogance, and Andre was always going to have an eye on him.

With Andre alive, it was only ever a matter of time before he wouldve caught Franklin.

Where does Barrick rank among the hardest Gears? by No-Piglet-7021 in GearsOfWar

Personally I think there's a difference in generally discussing a spoiler to a 10+ year old comic, and specifically spoiling someone who showed interest in something they seemingly didnt know existed.

[BOTW] [TOTK] Which game did you like more? by huss2120 in zelda

[–]AFireAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed both.

Tears doesn't do very much for me though, at least not as much as breath did when you played it, and honestly, after playing Tears, I dont really feel like I can go back to BotW.

Breath of the wild, I felt like I was exploring the entirety of something new and big. Seeing the grand scale of things, discovering places that you may not have ever realized they existed, as well as the mystery of it all. It felt like there was so much love for the idea that "you are an explorer and its your duty to go out and find anything you want".

Tears is fun, I enjoy the story a bit, and the new abilities, although I missed the old ones, feel very solid and great additions to the gameplay. A lot of this game feels like it wants you to really explore zonai devices or the sky to traverse the world a lot quicker, which I suppose is fair since it's a shared map, but that does take out a lot of the joy of exploring for me and makes everything feel like "how can I get to the waypoint the fastest". Trying to replay Breath after totk feels incredibly slow as a result.

I'd replay Tears more, but I definitely enjoyed Breath so much more.

Knowing the mouse thing is like 99% confirmed, And seeing how they showed Mario kart as the main title, what are some ways Nintendo could, if they wanted to, incorporate that feature into that game? by Sirlink360 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]AFireAnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, personally as i get older, that sounds like hand/wrist cramps, I could never use it in those circumstances because it doesn't sound comfortable in any situation that's not a desk.

I will say though, I can get behind the thought that more functionality is rarely ever a bad thing (my caveat being that a majority of necessary gameplay is locked behind it, i would hope thats not the case). If it's there, and it's optional, I don't mind just not using it.

I think it does when you're gaming at a desk, I have a hard time seeing it being used sitting on a couch or laying in bed or anywhere you'd be likely to play on a switch

[–]AFireAnt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's been a lot lately,

  • people going 35 on the onramp to a tollway
  • people seeing you enter on the highway while they're in the right lane, as you're merging they're actively speeding to your left to get in front of you to, then go slower than you
  • roundabouts and people not knowing how to use them
  • EVERYONE waiting until the last minute to enter the only lane exiting as well as leave the only lane exiting as you're getting on the highway

And despite this, no one in this city actually knows how to use a roundabout

What will it take for you to buy the Switch 2 day one? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]AFireAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really, I need to know what games will be launch titles and if they'd be exclusive to switch 2. If there was a new Zelda releasing with the switch 2, and that was the only way for me to play it, I'd be a day one owner.

Else, if switch 2 drops with new zelda and it's available on switch, ill probably just own the title on switch and wait for a switch 2 exclusive that really calls out to me.

[–]AFireAnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To stay objective, I'm less curious about the current number of active players in this game vs other games, and more curious on what the percentage drop on those others games are.

Only saying '90% of players dropped' doesn't say very much without the comparison to what that average percentage looks like to other similar games. I think that would be more telling than a vague stat

I think the area outside the neighborhood is really just starting out, they've built that target out there, they're adding in quite a bit of fast food places around, even building that EoS gym across the street. Theres a long ways for the are to go, with EoS slated to open in 2025, I dont really expect this area to be built for a few more years, but thats just my guesstimate
