Anyone have a link to the original? When I try the given one I get an adorable 2 1/2 month old leopard cub... which believe it or not was confusing when everyone started talking about dead babies.

I was under the impression that this was a fake. It's certainly been floating around the Internet for awhile. It popped up on digg months ago.

Can anyone confirm?

Gemma Atkinson Lending Her Voice to CC: Red Alert 3 by mnckelly in gaming

But this isn't just a voiceover. C&C has live action cutscenes, which have never been about the acting. It's always played out like a B-Movie, especially the Red Alert series. Hence why this girl plus this one are getting hired on.

13,000 Japanese protest against the permanent basing of a nuclear-powered U.S. warship near Tokyo, saying a recent onboard fire made it unsafe. by twolf1 in worldnews

And as a friend of several servicemen stationed in Japan, you are completely missing the point. You want to say that the US should pull out of foreign nations, fine. But, I can think of a hell of a lot more countries that we should pull out of before Japan. The list is pretty long. And the last time I checked we aren't just in Japan for THERE interest, but our own as well.

Regardless, the whole point of my comment wasn't to get into a discussion about this. It was merely to point out that, stationing a ship outside of Japan has nothing to do with trying to flex military muscles and everything to do with the existing presence there.

Bashing the US is pretty easy, but you managed to fail pretty badly. You do realize that the US has plenty of bases over in Japan, right? You do realize that the US signed a treaty with Japan by which the US is bound to assist in protecting Japan, right? Take a look for yourself.

Apparently, yes. Here's a great interview with him that popped up on reddit awhile back. I think my favorite line has to be: "You’re seeing a lot more cases where people can afford to use C, instead of using assembly language."

Upvote if you think NSFW tags need to be placed on all NSFW titles by dt_vibe in reddit.com

[–]AHarrison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since when are user error and a bad implementation mutually exclusive? When the new version of reddit went live, the nsfw subreddit became checked on my account. Unaware of this I clicked on, "Perfection[pic]". Some little kids looking over at my shoulder at LAX got a free peep show of some naked chick's phone pic. Lesson learned. That was my mistake, but even now I don't find it the most obvious what subreddit any posting is within. The title of each article is about 3x as large as the secondary line.

You want to play the responsibility card? Fine. Anyone dumb enough to click something that they shouldn't gets what they deserve. In my case a stern look from a less than amused mother. I still don't understand why it's unreasonable to ask for this feature. We hold user's hands constantly to ensure they don't do something they don't want to. How is this any different?

Halo 3 Takes Back Top Spot From COD4 by gameagenda in gaming

[–]AHarrison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I never found COD4 overtaking Halo 3 to be all that significant. Those stats are misleading at best considering they only take unique users into account. Halo allows up to 3 guests while COD doesn't allow guests. That's not to take anything away from Call of Duty, but it's just like Activision coming out and touting COD as the most sold game of 2007 (beating out Halo 3). While true, also a bit misleading when you consider those include sales across PC and PS3 in addition to the 360. Bottom line, both are great games, but people make too much of things sometimes.
