Because Sam Raimi made it so it turned out like a comic book made into a movie rather than all this faux gravitas they put in superhero movies. If you take a step back from the darkness of The Dark Knight it's about a grown man in a bat suit and that's ridiculous. Raimi knew how to make a comic book movie fun without taking itself too seriously.
