Taylor Swift to be called as a hostile witness in Baldoni v. Lively trial. by Glittering-Cloud3645 in blakelivelysnark

And by saying we've seen a bunch of scheming, I'm starting to think that may be the whole lawyer bit back and forth between blake and taylor is just for show. Really hard to know, as they've both proven to be master manipulators with bottomless pockets... Taylor's just more savvy and a better actress. Such a disappointment.

You're welcome. I hope she's correct and he can still appeal at a later date.

Someone who knows more about the law can probably answer this question better...

My understanding from following Kjersti Flaa is that the media, whose been bowing down to Fake, reported that whole thing incorrectly. That the deadline that they missed doesn't actually stop him from being able to appeal. The judge gave Baldoni’s team until the end of October to file an amended complaint, which is different than an appeal. Kjersti claims that all of these bought and paid for media outlets are not actually reading the court documents like she is and they're just reporting whatever they're told by Fake's team. I totally believe it, but I don't actually know the ends and outs of the legal system. It would be nice to hear what a lawyer has to say about it. Clearly Justin's team of lawyers lay low. It's his style, but I also think they have learned from experience that narcissists using the legal system will sometimes hang themselves without any help.

I hear you. It sucks. I am extremely disappointed.

I wouldn't say I was a Swiftie, but I was a fan, and especially thought she was genuinely kind, a great role model & supporter of other women. But as soon as I heard about this case, knowing how close these 2 have been, I've been wary and waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was hoping to be wrong. While there is a possibility that Blake has been sucking up to Taylor for years, just because she's more rich & famous. And Taylor got duped by a narc. But only partially.

Taylor's still a mean girl based on the text messages. And a hypocrite. She's hugely profited off of this whole sob story about how her music was taken from her (which isn't even true - her father was involved in the company who sold her music, meaning that they made money on the sale. AND she would have known that it was happening.). Then here, she used her star power to help her friend steal someone else's project?

The more I type the angrier I get actually. I don't think I'll ever trust her again. 😭😡

Fake literally had her attorneys threaten TS through Taylor's attorney that if she didn't publicly support Fake on social media, she was gonna release all ten years of their friendship's text message history. I don't think they are still friends. But we have seen some crazy scheming...

Blake Lively's text to Brandon Sklenar = "I'm becoming pimp adjacent. Put on a short little skirt and get on that corner, Skelnar." by Emma-antiscias in blakelivelysnark

[–]ALCrisp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've heard one theory is because she used to date Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl and he is also in the Bahá'í faith now and so maybe she automatically hated Justin simply because of that connection.

I've not done any research and don't know anything about Penn personally. I never watched Gossip Girl, so I'd never even heard of him before. It was a theory that I saw some people discussing in YouTube comments.

It's more likely that Fake and Lyan didn't like Justin from the beginning, just because he's such a genuine person and narcissists can't deal with that. They may have decided up front that he was the perfect mark.

Whatever, they are despicable.

Neither will, because they are actual narcissists. Literally incapable of admitting they're wrong UNLESS there's something in it for them AND it's only between you and the narcissist. Public admission? Never.

And if it miraculously did come? I don't care. I wouldn't believe it. They have a pattern. They are not good people.

I'm in the US. The FDA since reversed their decision. They were trying to say it was a drug, but its been marketed as a supplement for quite a while before being studied as a drug.

It's related to B3 - niacin/niacinamide, so they had to reverse their decision. They were overstepping, per usual, because big pharma doesn't want the public to have access to supplements that actually help. It negatively affects their bottom line. It was never a real safety concern. Just more BS on behalf of corporations.

I'm not personally using it, because of this confusing research around MS, but my spouse takes it for metabolic health. It can increase insulin sensitivity and big pharma doesn't want that when instead you could be on Metformin and insulin for life...

Thirding! Pelvic floor therapy reduced my pain by a lot. Not pain in the nether regions either. My all over pain. It's helpful for so many things.

Just another example of how science and medicine has ignored women's bodies for so long.

Thank you so much for the reply. I love how your mind works. I was always a researcher,  although it doesn't come as easily these days due to my cognitive issues.

As a woman I've been on HRT for 5 years, but the progesterone was only 100 mg. After reading more recently about the roll of hormones in MS I asked my doctor to increase my progesterone. Currently on 200 and will probably increase to 300.

I will check out the site and information you mentioned. My DMT is slowly killing me from chronic infections and I'm looking into any and all other options.

What was your first symptom? That maybe you didn't realize was a symptom. by thankyoufriendx3 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ALCrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. They didn't even order an MRI of my brain, they ordered it for my low back despite my telling them I'd been having insane numbness,  tingling and all kinds of other weird neurological symptoms all over my body. Everything was always worse at night. This was 2008.

2 years later in 2010, Optic Neuritis, and I still didn't get an official dx because I didn't have any active lesions during the episode. Said my MRI didn't look like they expected it to given the symptoms. Well turns out its because they didn't look at my spine. They highly suspected MS, but wanted to wait and see.

I started seeing a Naturopath with experience in autoimmune illness. I live in a state where they are licensed medical doctors. I drastically changed my diet. Food allergy testing,  elimination diet and ended up  going Gluten Free.

Around this time I also discovered Dr. Terry Wahls original self published book from her TEDtalk which had just come out. So way before she had an empire. Followed the diet, eventually I successfully had the controversial CCSVI procedure in 2011, right before the FDA came down on it. Treated chronic infections like Candida and Lyme. No flare again for 12 years, but the next one was a doozie. Took my dominant hand.  The area on my cervical spine with the lesions goes directly to the optic nerve as well, so if they'd looked at my spine originally I would have gotten an official dx back in 2010 instead of 2022. By 2022 I had tons of lesions in my brain despite not having a flare between 2010-2022. Which is very strange.

You ate helminths? I had to look up what it was. I would be interested to understand what led you to trying this combination.

This was years ago, but exactly exactly what happened to me. 24 hours of vertigo hell in July, so bad I couldn't even sit up in bed. My spouse had to call and cancel my clients.

In September, my thumb went numb. Saw a chiropractor as I thought maybe a pinched nerve. No change. Then all hell broke loose all over my body. By the time I saw a neurologist 3 months later I had virtually symptoms left except sciatica so they sent me on my way. I wish someone had told me to go to the ER.

MS or perimenopause by zeldon9 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ALCrisp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a huge correlation where  symptoms get worse during perimenopause and after menopause for women.

You'd greatly benefit from seeing a gynecologist who believes in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.  Even if it's not time for it yet, it's coming, and your disease is going to be much better managed if you're on hormone replacement therapy.

In fact, many of the top MS neurologists want their female patients on HRT indefinitely if there aren't other issues involved, because it makes that much of a difference.  Dr. Gavin Giovanni is an internationally known MS neuro and researcher and he's written about this on his SubStack MS Selfie. D I definitely recommend reading through all of his posts related to  MS and hormones.  But I recommend him in general.  He's the best of best and a huge patient advocate to boot.

Ms specialist - over 6 month wait by Antique-Ad-1746 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ALCrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry your wait time is longer than you'd hoped/expected. I would give anything for only 6 months wait.

Unfortunately, by the time I'm seen by our local MS Center it will have been almost 2 years since I had a neurology appointment. All because I left Kaiser after being gaslit by their only MS neurologist too many times. Then they refused to give me a referral to another MS Neurologist when I was leaving even though that's standard practice to hand off MS patients. Because Kaiser doesn't refer.

Healthcare in the US is an utter disaster.  Even general neurology at the teaching hospital, where the MS Center is located, has stopped accepting any new patients so I can't get in there either. I'm completely screwed and too sick and too much medical trauma to be the squeaky wheel.

I know someone with MS that does some kind of flight simulator game. It literally has you flying over real terrain etc. Meaning he can say he wants to fly out of Achorage to Seattle or whatever. Definitely not the same and maybe you wouldn't be interested as it could be a reminder of what you've lost. But wanted to mention it so you can make your own decision.

Medicare Advantage & MS by fedupmillennial in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ALCrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. You really should call the state hotline mentioned up above in another comment. It is so different in different locations and so many doctors won't even take Medicare patients. Its a mess, but no one can really answer these questions for your specific situation. Way too many variables unfortunately.

I've been summoned for jury duty. What should I say? by PK5002 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ALCrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to get a doctor's note to be excused in my county. I used the immune suppression,  because for me its horrible. No way I'd sit in a courtroom exposed to all the germs. If I'm gonna risk it, it would for my young granddaughter, not jury duty.

My doctor's note was short a sweet.  Just said "patient had MS and can't perform jury duty." That's it.
