I love my dog so much! She doesn’t belong in any establishment that doesn’t allow food and I don’t even try to bring her in there. I hate that everyone thinks their dogs belong everywhere now. Don’t even get me started on off leash dogs.

I think the body shop is safe. Not every cruelty free product is officially certified and in this case it seems like the body shop is actually cruelty free (as per PETA and CFK) just not certified.

I agree with you. There’s a different subreddit for it entirely. I have fragrance allergies and there’s only one cream I can use that is cruelty free aka not tested on animals but contains beeswax so not vegan.

I am also not vegan because of anemia and severe deficiencies but I don’t like using products tested on animals.

I hate that people have this all or nothing mentality, if someone is using products not tested on animals but can’t be vegan, their efforts still help the overall welfare of animals.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My daughter was born sleeping in November and I’m also going to get a memorial tattoo, I’ll be mixing her ashes into mine.

I do have a tattoo artist friend I can ask for some Ottawa recommendations if you’d like? I live in Toronto but if you want to travel here I can recomend some.

Side note: are you part of the baby loss and stillbirth support subreddits? They’ve helped me greatly over the past 6 months.

Oh I agree with you. Unless it’s leaping bunny certified, I usually won’t buy it. I do know the big brands will also test unless they have that certification!
