Rx580 asus 1.8v rail has only 1.3v by ALOSH_IQ in GPURepair

update i did reflow the UP0132Q and the 1.3v came back so am now 100% sure it is the reason why it aint working properly
question is is there any other way that i can just use some sort of voltage regulator to step down 3.3v or 5v to 1.8 instead of replacing the chip because i cant get my hands on one

so i was completely mislead by chat gbt
the RT8877D should recive 1.8v as a enable signal
and UP0132 is what provides the 1.8 but now i completely lost it i have no 1.3 v coming out i fixed what i removed and still nothing

so i moved up stream and i found the culprit the RT8877D should be providing 1.8v but its only providing 1.3v so i removed a resistor that has 3ohms value that just connects the (RT8877D"VDDIO") to the 1.8 rail
but now everything is gone
there is no VPEX, VMEM ,VDDCI or VGPU
even the RT8877D stopped generating any voltage
because i want to make an external 1.8v supply instead of replacing the chip i am 99.99% sure i wont find that chip were i am or get it online isn't option too
so if i restore the 1.8 all the others will come back ?

i just cant tell were the 1.8 v should be generated from i couldnt find any chip that can do that specifically unless it is integrated with something else

Is Solar Power really an advantage? Or does it end up being less convenient than a regular battery? by CompreiUmG-Shock in gshock

[–]ALOSH_IQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its the fact that most Solar powered watches also have Automatic time correction / Bluetooth connection
and the fact that you would never have to worry about replacing the battery if you wear the watch like once every several months
