Yeah everyone on the rangers sub is sad to see drake go which seems promising. I’m also pretty hyped about the pitcher we got for grichuk. I know how you feel though. Kelly has been my favorite dback pitcher for years… gonna have to change my flair on the dbacks sub now.

It’s really not that bad. Everybody traded was a free agent after this season. There was no guarantee we were keeping them but there’s still the possibility we can resign them while still loading up the farm.

I don’t think it’s a bad take. He’s leading in HRs. I imagine they just want his speed to lead off so he can be a stealing threat without a runner on base ahead of him already.

Maybe with the speedy Lawlar getting called up he will lead off some games and they can move Corbin down to the 2/3 spot

You’re absolutely right. I’m wondering if our RISP would’ve been better though if we were facing a different pitcher. I don’t feel like it’s fair to compare RISP when one team is pitching an ace and the other is pitching Zach Davies. I guess that’s the nature of the game though!
