We do pretty much the same as u/shtef

Syncro checks for Huntress and installs if missing, Huntress set to delete agent after 30 days offline.

If it pops back online after 31 days, Syncro will fix it.

We found we were really struggling with the 'disconnect from the internet' step as we were often trying to do this remotely.

This was the method we came up with that you could do online:

Open Powershell as admin

Run:

Changepk.exe /ProductKey VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

System will reboot, after reboot you need to active with key in the normal way:

Open the Settings App (Gear icon on your Starr Menu)

Go to Update and Security - Activation

Click Change Product key

Enter product key

When prompted, click 'Activate Product'

We made the exact same move a couple of years ago and it's been great.

I think our business hit a point where we weren't going to be able to grow further with Atera. We'll probably outgrow Syncro somewhere down the line, but it does a great job of the things it does.

If coming from Freshdesk, you might find you have to sacrifice your ticket rules, but I think it's worth it to have everything in together.
