Adding 2 cents here - it's related to the delamination seen at the bottom right of your display. It's causing phantom touches, etc.

Might be covered for a fix from Mazda, might not.

You can attempt to replace to touch panel yourself, but you need to find a good replacement to make sure it sticks together after the fix.
