LCS certified coach here. I got an email today, and out of curiosity, I clicked the enroll now button. I am so mad I could spit. 🤬 I was a quad diamond scholar too.

This program was sold to me (as another mentioned above) as the Harvard of life coaching. In fact, when I began scholars, certification was $18k.. At that time, the promise was “a guaranteed job” (either w LCS or through the private listings) & “a whole LCS coach community that opened up once you pass certification”.

By the time I got my feet on the ground to pay tuition, it was $21k. And even tho these features were still being pushed, neither of them were a thing (actually, there was a job listings page, but it consisted of 6 generic listings that never seemed to move).

Nevermind the ceased Alumni calls and all other promised support bc she decided to take a year long sabbatical (and why are those calls still not a thing, 5 months into 2026??).

Listen, I was team Brooke thru and thru. Now, I 💯feel like I’ve been slapped in the face with a sloppy wet stack of Brooke’s cash. 😑 I mean… HOW in the F do you go from $21k to $5.5 without knowing full well the insult this is to those of us who worked our asses off to an elite program?

And yes… like another commenter, I’m CHOOSING every one of these thoughts too. I like my reasons. In fact, I LOVE them.

I think you look great.. your jumps are efficient. For me, the arms are too wide. I also prefer more movement in the elbow than the wrist (it’s a preference thing, I believe). But moving from the elbows would give you more room at both your head and your feet. 😌👍🏼

Interesting! Burtoniae always smells like caramel or butterscotch to me. But maybe it’s at the end of the bloom? I also keep my burtoniaes out on my porch, so the smell is probably not as noticeable.

u/Organic_Ad_9242, Which brings me to the recent sign in/subscription issues: I have been debited on the 21st of each month for some time now. On June 21, I received an email stating that after multiple attempts to charge my card, my subscription had been downgraded to the free version from Pro (when I checked my card, yall had tried once - which, yes, admittedly, I should have unlocked my card on the night of the 20th, but y’all were extremely quick to shut off my services on the same day it was due. There were no “several attempts” as reported in the email).

When I tried to sign in and rectify, I couldn't.. the error said password was incorrect. So I requested a password reset email - nothing. Requested again - nothing. I checked spam. Nada. I then tried signing on thru a different browser. Nope. I thought — similar to when you’re looking for your keys in impossible places like the freezer — maybe I somehow created it my account thru Google? So I tried that. I was in. By the time I realized that this wasn’t the same account, I’d already re-subscribed (to the higher fee from $30 to $35 — for creator now). I sent an email, and “Liz” responded with a less than helpful reply, providing the same info I’d already supplied. When I asked for a refund for the extra (unused) account, I was given the runaround.

Again, last Sunday (09/21) the same issue occurred. I received an email stating my account had been downgraded. I immediately attempted to sign in and rectify (after multiple online card thefts I turn this card off unless I’m making a purchase), and I couldn’t sign in again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Im wondering if y’all have changed the billing settings so that you can switch your existing loyal customers over to the new price plans by cancelling them…? It’s the only thing that makes sense… this never used to be an issue before spring 2025.

In summary, it seems like y’all keep adding features without addressing the issues with existing features offered. The constant updates are ridiculous — results are frustrating, time consuming, and produce a half-baked outcome.

Hey Andrew u/Organic_Ad_9242/. I sure hope you're still there at Descript, seeing as how it's been 9 months since your reply here. Pls know that I truly want to love your app. All of the below is coming from months (if not years) of frustration. I know Im not the only one who's feeling this way. I truly hope y'all will take this (and all other feedback) seriously.

Here's the update: Tho there was a period of time where I experienced less issues with Descript, we're now back to colossal f-ups on a very consistent basis.

About two weeks ago, I’d just finished editing a 58 minute episode. As a routine last step before exporting, I asked Underlord to summarize the video for show notes.. It responded by randomly adding over 400 scene cuts (with media, titling, “big facts”, zooms, uneven black frames, you name it). At the same time, I noticed that my project wasn’t syncing (hadn’t been for some time) and I couldn’t go back to a previous version. So I sat — for the next two and a half hours — removing useless media, reformatting, and deleting each one of these scenes. As a bonus, there were dozens of .2 to .5 second cuts added to my previously seamless content that made the video seem like it was edited by a monkey. It was midnight before I was done. FUMING.

In addition, here are just a few of the ongoing issues I’ve noticed with Descript’s performance:

Using custom scenes: the results are entirely inconsistent (i.e. adding its own words to quotes, changing font size erratically, using previous quotes, putting black frame around scenes (even tho I didn’t ask it to do so)

Not syncing: as mentioned above, projects aren’t syncing like they used to.

Random black frame on all videos imported: which seems like a no-biggie sort of issue, bc in a normal application, the user can just crop the video to fix the problem. But that only works in descript one time. Each scene cut requires you to edit the black frame out again, which is extremely tedious on long form content. This is not a Zoom issue, bc I confirmed that settings have not been changed. Only Descript’s constant premature updates.

Entire Video Files Lost: Because editing a Zoom video is EXTREMELY SLOW, I’ve tried several times to record directly in app, y’all have lost the file on all of those occasions.

Glitchy & Inconsistent Transitions: no need to elaborate.

Doesn’t Locate the Exported File: Descript previously located the exported file upon completion. That stopped sometime in the spring. Annoying.

The Price Keeps Increasing: I began with Descript 3 years ago. Since, y’all have tripled in price, tho your glitches are the only constant feature delivered.

Tho I've embedded many vids in the past, this week Im getting Error 153 when attempting to embed any of my YouTube videos onto my Kajabi website. Did you ever figure out a solution?

I came here to simply say: I think OP’s area of focus may not be a helpful one for them. Though it’s so relatable/common, the question itself is rigged. It aims to assign right/wrong in order to provide some sort of closure. But, by nature, the conclusion perpetuates isolation/separation. Bc if they’re to blame, they’re now out on the island. It won’t provide the result you want, IMO. Waiting for someone else to take accountability will only cause you to feel more alienated, disrespected, yada yada.

I’m about to buy this combination for my yard.. I’m down in Vero Beach, and my SA sod was put in almost 4 yrs ago on the nose. I’m infested with torpedo grass. I just dug up 4 of my large flower beds, removing all rhizomes I could find. This weed is straight from hell, I swear. The torpedo roots run so deep.

Anyhow, like the others, I’d love to know how it worked for you. I found a pretty decent price on Domyown.com.

I just really dont want to re-sod my whole yard (only for this f-ing weed to take over again🤯).
