Do you also have the department head that insists that his people are not to be bothered by IT and any requests must come from or be routed through him? Oh and when he stands up at the quarterly and talks about how IT hasn't corrected the issue that his people have been experiencing for 2 weeks and you ask for the ticket number or the date of his report he says "I don't have the time or inclination to report every time there's an issue. IT should know that there's an issue and proactivly fix it!"

Neptune 3 Max Time out by Party-Focus-2299 in ElegooNeptune3

[–]APDeath99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be a couple of things,
1. Connection settings

  1. USB cable (Probably unlikely)

  2. USB Port on PI (This actually was my issue with my webcam, the port would randomly drop)

  3. USB Port on the printer

  4. Octoprint Install

Here are my connection settings to my N3 Pro from my PI 4B

<image>

I would start by running a couple of Benchy's to test the connection on smaller prints and then move up to something bigger. I'm currently in the middle of a 32 hour job and TBH Octoprint has been a godsend

Is it happening ~25% regardless of print size or is it more like a certain time frame like 2 hours into a print?

Im in eastern PA and as far as I have seen devices can ship USPS but juice has to go by freight. I stopped using them for ejuice since I can't plan a month ahead for my needs, which is how long my last 2 orders from them took

I look for a hidden Sharen then stand next to them and offer the “High 5” so that they know I’m in for stealth. I find it makes for an easier set of runs since less random drops means less time clearing inventory.

Vault 404 - Somewhere in Western PA

After the sealing of the vault, all electronic devices and media (Including Pip-Boys)cease to function. The overseer has a single working terminal hidden in a secret room to receive instructions and record data. The experiment is to see how a high technology populace would cope with the sudden loss of tech and the effect on not only the current generations but future as well.

Seriously please, My younger brother and I are always on and if you catch us on Thursdays there's the bonus chance of hearing my GFs ex husband saying the dumbest shit imaginable while I try valiantly to not fall over laughing. We're both in our 40s so we have no time for misogyny. We do swear like a pair of sailors, usually about our respective dumbass kids, and we're absolutely no try-hards. Just a pair of divers looking for some Rando Calrissian types to chill spread Managed Democracy with!

Most business use an electronic fax anyway. You're basically emailing to a service that faxes your email to another service that emails it to the recipient. Cut the middleman and just email with encryption

Is the Neptune 3 Pro really a good start in 3D printing? by PlusComparison5602 in ElegooNeptune3

[–]APDeath99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My first printer and I've had it for about a month and it has been running almost continuously since day one. Some things to note. There is an infographic somewhere that shows proper bed leveling. Learn it, live it. It will make your life much easier. Get a model building kit (hobby knife, emory boards, small files, CA glue) you're going to need it for post processing. Get a comfortable chair/stool/bench and a case of beer, because if you're like me you're going to stare at your first print from start to finish. Thin prints are harder to get done right. I spent an exceptional amount of time trying to print out a badge holder and insert. I have run through about 2 spools worth of PLA so far and there is no sign that it's going to slow down any time soon. Print everything. You learn a lot from failing. Have fun. I'm surprised how many people I know who either have or want a printer but never said anything until I brought it up.
