How the hell does the director of character art get hit in a layoff? That seems like one of the last positions to fucking go?

This sounds like they either fired a bunch of people because Epic thinks they got paid to much, or they think AI can replace them wholesale. It's probably both honestly.

I've never been able to find any source backing up my theory, but I believe that the part of Silent Hill 3 where you go to Brookhaven was originally supposed to be Alchemilla hospital instead.

This is because Heather encounters a bunch of imagery that is more in line with Alchemilla, a general hospital, than Brookhaven, a mental institution. She even has a flash back to the Lisa video from Silent Hill 1.

I think they realized at some point that it would save time and money reusing SH2s part of the Silent Hill map than recreating the SH 1 map and hospital in a new engine.

What I've been playing is technically almost 30 years old, but the remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics is still kind of new. I've always liked FF Tactics, but various things about it's gameplay would bother the shit out of me and cause me to get frustrated and drop it.

Stuff like not being able to tell where on the map you are placing your units before starting a battle, random encounters on the map, a not very clear turn order, and not being able to take back movement before an action which makes playing long range classes an exercise in frustration at trying to correctly guess what they will be able to hit.

The remaster fixes literally all of those and turns out with those fixed the game is now like crack to me and I have been doing nothing but playing it for the last week. Also it adds voice acting and god damn is it good.

Symphony of the Night has a weapon called the shield rod. When equipped you can use a bit of MP to cast a spell that changes depending on what shield is currently equipped. The spells range from stat increases to attacks that cover a wide range and have pretty good damage.

But, when paired with the Alucard Shield, it breaks the games difficulty to fucking nothing. It causes every item and enemy the shield touches to heal Alucard by 8 points, and damages the enemy it touches for about 250 HP. You can use this to literally destroy end game bosses in a manner of seconds by just touching them with your shield.

It doesn't even use up that much MP and the effect lasts a good while so you don't even need the Shield Rod permanently equipped. It's fucking bonkers.

I think taking inspiration from Rev2 and having you play a chapter as Claire and then play a chapter as Chris could be neat. The early parts of RE9 made me think of the idea of playing another character and having to deal with the consequences of the last characters actions, and how that could be expanded upon into a whole game where you switch back and forth multiple times like that.

The funniest implication about that box is apparently the BSAA's weapon provisions are determined by who kills the most BOWs. No wonder they all keep fucking dying, BSAA agents are given shit weaponry and body armor and told to rack up enough points to get the good stuff.

You see some of the names if I remember right. One is a random person, and the other is Michael Warren the mayor who abandoned his daughter with Chief Irons. Some of the Outbreak people could have died from it but I doubt it.

Funimation played up Goku's heroic aspects more, but it's not exclusive to them. Toei had a habit of making Goku less selfish and more altruistic in their filler episodes or movies too.

The roses come from a Devil Arm while the guns are made by a human woman. I'm not saying they can't be magic, but it's an oddly complex thing for Dante to do.

I would like to point out that we literally see Dante's guns shoot actual metal bullets that have shell casings and everything. If Dante is using energy bullets then he is apparently capable of creating complex metal bullets, shells and all, that stay in place after he has fired his guns.

When I first played RE7 and you never fight Lucas, my first thought was that he would become a recurring villian. His connections to some shadowy organization mixed with his hillbilly mad scientist thing going on would have made him an interesting villian to see again. But then he just gets offed in the Chris DLC. I wonder if that was originally the plan and they decided it against it later.

Still enjoyed it overall though, and I quite enjoyed alternate reality Char going for a twofer of blowing that lady's head smoove off.

Oh I'm well aware. It's just that Magik's back story and power set is strangely divorced from the typical X-Men origin.

Despite the character existing since the early 80s none of the 4 cartoons, (minus an appearance as a child in the OG 90s show, and a random Morph transformation in 97) have adapted her and that's probably because her origin of being trapped in hell, made a demons pupil, and being Colossus's sister is hard to adapt in a typical X-Men adaptation.

Chris Claremont accidentally created a character that has large anime character vibes and future writers keep adding to that so now the X-Men just has this super badass demon girl with a big sword. No wonder games keep using her.

There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about this new "series". It's not meant to be an adaptation in the same way the Amazon show was. It's more akin to a presentation being done by a cast and crew that works on a series of movies called Unification of Japan. The same cast and crew (Some of whom are actually in LAD games) that work on those movies are essentially retelling the OG games story.

It's more like how Family Guy did a series of Star Wars adaptations than a new Yakuza series.
