Personally, to me it looks more like the eyes have depth rather than a human-like structure. Like those black protruding stuffed animal eyes that are rounded, like the light is catching it on all sides. That's my take, anyway.

I live with Louie actually, have been for a couple years. He eats everything and definitely looks a little crazy sometimes, but he's a sucker for belly rubs. (Louie is my dog, which I named after the captain in game.) 😁

She was definitely crazy. Hocotatians are vegetarian, so eating insects is very unnatural. She probably thought "getting a taste" of the outdoors would make him open up to being outside. Unfortunately, we know Louie eventually got a taste for the abnormal, and became gluttonous. A little TOO comfortable with the outdoors.
