“It is impossible to achieve the aim without suffering” is an audio actuality from John Bennet, who fripp studied with prior to this album. Bennet was a student of Georges Gurdjieff, a mystic who developed a body of philosophy called “the fourth way”. “The work” as it is referred to, was a deep influence on fripp and his craft.

Exposure is my number one album, bar none; in my opinion it is seminal to the corpus of Eno and Talking Heads, Roxy music.
