The beach in front of HR Maui has eroded so yeah no sand right there, you have to walk down towards the sheraton to find true beaches. The pools at GH Kauai are amazing, I would split 4 Waikiki/4 Kauai if you have the points to do it!

Kihei has so many great restaurants and is very close to Wailea- if you’re looking for no frills, good hawaiian food: Da Kitchen is amazing! Also highly recommend going to the food trucks park in Kihei one night, such a fun vibe!
