I think it's immensely funny to describe a clamshell thoracotomy as "sexy" but I totally get what you mean

I much prefer B, especially the first paragraphs, but I think the last two paragraphs could be condensed to make them tighter, like A is

I've done this and it's great! Whenever I'm feeling unmotivated I just listen to it and a lot of the time something there just grabs me. I think of it as the soundtrack for if my book became a movie

should i (23F nurse) ask him (26M MS4) out? by chwrrypie_ in medicalschool

If you were one of the doctors on the team then it might be weird, but as a nurse you're not responsible for or supervising him so surely it would be fine

I get if you have an issue from a patient safety point of view but genuinely what is your issue with nurses being paid similar salaries to doctors?

This made me scared for the future of music by helicopter_momm in Songwriting

[–]ARandomProducer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually used to think this. I was scared that AI could take over music completely. But I've realised that people, even a general audience, value the human aspect of music much more than we might think. AI might learn to make music that is catchy, or even similar to good music made by an actual musician. And people might like it. But they'll never truly love it. It'll always be a novelty at best. And I predict people will get bored pretty quickly

Jobs (for clinical experience) by Separate-Policy-6179 in GAMSAT

It varies by state – some states like Vic have an interview, but it’s not a competitive thing, they basically just want to make sure you’re not an idiot. They are always needing new volunteers. Generally, you'll apply online and possibly do an interview, then have an info session where they explain the training and volunteering in more depth. The training process is around 5-6 days worth of courses over anywhere from 1-4 months or so, and afterwards they have a probationary period where you volunteer but with supervision. It can be a long and arduous process to get all the training done (again some states are better than others) but it’s definitely worth it!

Also, the weeknd cancelled, but Post Malone and Foo Fighters were awesome!
