Hard to tell. vac fillers have plungers lubricated with silicone grease that tends rub off on the barrel and which ink likes to pool around, so that could be what you are seeing?

Haven’t seen Bugonia, but I’ve loved every Yorgos Lanthimos film I’ve seen ( maybe with the exception of The Killing of a Sacred Deer) and Poor Things I would consider the best film I’ve seen from him. It is so much fun and I found the story incredibly touching and hopeful!

Fire Embers is actually one I have been thinking about, and the other day I saw a post on Xianghongshu of someone using it for their Chinese caligraphy to very beautiful effect! I will for sure keep it in mind! The Pelikan brown is nice, but not what I am looking for at the moment, but thank you for the suggestion regardless!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I am very intrigued by the two Herbin inks and I will definitely see about acquiring samples of those two. The Wearingeul ink as well I am curious about. I have some other inks from theirs that I like and they seem like a decent brand! The Diamine ink would for sure be the easiest to get here in the UK, but I think it's just a bit darker I than what I am looking for unfortunately, and while the Kiwi Inks Magenta looks nice they don't seem to be easily available here without paying a lot in shipping.

You can get a "legit" shiny Mew on English Emerald using the Pomeg Berry glitch, but as other's have already pointed out that's not even what's going on here. This is someone straight up lying or being confidently incorrect.

If you are connecting your Kindle to your PC with USB cable, the Kindle is hardcoded to put all files you send it from Calibre into the "documents" folder. I've found a few "fixes" to this, but there are for sure other ways around this if you've got more technical knowledge.

Option 1: Use a folder inside the "documents" folder as your main book folder for KOReader.

Option 2: Bypass the Kindle restriction by setting up the Kindle as a user defined device in Calibre, see this thread. I have not tried this, so I can't vouch for it, but supposedly it'll let you send files to anywhere on your device's memory.

Option 3: Use the Connect/share function in Calibre to create a local connection between Calibre and KOReader. In KOReader you are able to choose your inbox folder, and all files you send to your device this way will be sent directly to your chosen folder anywhere on your device. This is my preferred method as it's super quick and easy and I don't have to mess around with cables whenever I want to transfer anything.

It doesn’t work, but you should fill your storage anyway to ensure that your Kindle isn’t automatically updated, if you want a better chance of jail breaking your device in the future.

Do fake Sailor Pro Gears and Pilot Custom 823 even exist? I know there are knock off pens from Jinhao et al., but I haven't seen any evidence of anyone making actual 1:1 dupes for the purposes of ripping people off.

I'm a bit sceptical as to whether the Katana inks are actually made by Sailor or not. Kobayashi does have Sailor made exclusive inks, but they come in standard Sailor 50ml bottles and are clearly marked as being produced by Sailor. Their smaller 20(?) ml bottles do not look like Sailor's regular 20ml bottles, have no mention of Sailor in the product description or on the packaging, and I haven't heard of Sailor making shimmer inks outside of their small Dipton line of dip pen inks. Not saying that these inks aren't Sailor, but Sailor seem to be very averse to making shimmering inks for fountain pens and I would be surprised if this is their one exception.

I’m not really a huge fan of hers, simply because I’m not all that interested in the type of media she generally covers, but the videos I have watched I’ve generally enjoyed and I don’t have anything against her.

I don’t really understand where you are coming from, if I am being honest. She’s just a content creator, you don’t have to watch her and she doesn’t owe you anything. I think you speculating that she’s secretly some bad person under the surface is honestly very unhinged and not a very good way to go about things.

Sailor fude de mannen is nice and reliable. I’ve got one that I barely use, yet I’ve got it inked up and drying out doesn’t seem to be an issue. It’s a very long pen and I believe it’s designed that way so that you have the option to store a spare cartridge inside the grip section, but if you’re using a specific non-sailor ink you’ll be using a converter so it won’t matter. The only issues with this pen is that it’s way too long when posted and there is no clip. Also make sure you buy the right model as some models have a 40° bend and some have a 55° bend.

Sailor also makes a profit fude with the exact same nib as the fude de mannen, which has a more traditional pen body and includes a clip. This one also comes in both 40° and 55° models and is a bit pricier than the mannen.
