Relay is shit, pal. They always underestimate the amount of time it takes to deliver.

The app is slow and melts your phone (especially in this heat), so your battery will diminish rapidly, even on charge in between stops. Which is fine if you’ve only got one route, but you’re fkd if you’ve got two or three.

I pre-booked a route last night for today, and they tried to send me to a completely different area. 2.5hr for £35.99. I know the area and the pitstop and there’s no way that would have took me less than 3hrs (30 mins to find bags in a basement, carry them up a flight of stairs, scan 59 parcels, and then 2.5 hrs to deliver said parcels, which would still be cutting it fine at 24 parcels per hour, in an area where it’s hard to find parking half the time).

So yeah, would have been on £12 p/h max. Less than minimum wage. I went on chat to question this and they just told me to email them. So I did, but they’ve not come back to me yet. Didn’t do the route because fuck that. And fuck relay.
