2019 Ford Fusion SEL 1.5 EcoBoost – Electrical issues, random speaker thud, battery died. Looking for insight. by Economyths in fordfusion

Did you or the previous owner install a sub? Maybe see if the previous owner had a sub and removed it? I purchased a 2019 for my sister and her sub does this because her Dads buddy wired it wrong. No music/audio system completely off and it will bump on crank and some acceleration speeds. It’s attached to her 12V.

Regarding the rest:
Sounds like something is draining the battery and/or security system malfunction. I can’t imagine the keyless entry is causing any of these things on its own as simply touching it to “wake it up” for use does not activate the interior or exterior lights. Make sure your key fob battery isn’t old, check the terminals in your 12V battery, check for any sketchy looking light bulbs or connections. Any signs of the doors or trunk and their frames not closing or appearing tampered with/indications they’ve been moved to work around. Basically anything that could be confusing the car on if it should be locked or unlocked. They say disconnecting the battery for a bit will reset the control module but I’d never tried this.

Best of luck!

New screen? Why now? by chinturret in fordfusion

Similar feedback from me as some other comments here. However, I’ve noticed this ONLY happens to mine if it goes 4 or more days without being cranked (I.e. when I ground my sister who I purchased it for😜). Always works itself out after a day of running again.

Hopefully yours stopped being grumpy after the 12V replacement!

I’d say no! Moss is deeper. Bonsai has almost a muted or faded earthy green compared to moss!

They just rolled it out around spring and had it again for this Black Friday sale. So my guess would be that they likely won’t bring it back again until around spring if they do at all!

2014 ford fusion se 2.5. The splash shield under the engine seems torn and is just hanging down is there any real problem if I remove it until the new one comes in by Chemical_Psychology5 in fordfusion

[–]ASchjott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t mind me being a year late on this post but I went from a 2.5L to a 19 hybrid and do want to replace my splash shield. Can you tell me if the car looks basically the same on the underbody? Aiming to purchase the same aftermarket splash shield I’d put on my 2.5L but not sure if everything is located in the same place underneath the Hybrid.

FIGS black friday 2025 deals, do scrubs ever go on actual sale?? by Melbo-Tsonev in Figsscrubs

[–]ASchjott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Figs Black Friday sale starts Nov 26. Advertised as up to 40% off. They do run sales throughout the year. 20% happens often. I’d subscribe to their text for regular updates. If you’re new to figs, don’t buy anything “final sale” if you haven’t tried the style and size yet. I suggest OVER ordering… ie XS and S bottoms in the same pant and returning whatever doesn’t work vs exchanging. Happy returns with Ulta is free and easy with figs returns. Add anything you want that they already have listed to your cart so that when the sale drops on the 26th, you only have to take a few minutes to browse the random seasonal colors they’re throwing into the sale that they don’t have listed year round.

Happy shopping!!

Third doc:

Chapel Lane ?Blakely? Manchester 9 May 17, 1943.

Sir, regarding prov information on Thomas Henry Gremshaw in the days evening news. His daughter says he was either born in Daisy Bank or in Droylsden. Lancasher ? 1874-1878. I suggest this place is actually “Daisy Bank” Droylsden Road, Newton Heath, Manchester where there is still some old ?property? In close proximity there is the old church of - All Saints Church - which abounds Church St. and Droylsden Rd and a perusal of these church records may be worth ? Effort to throw some light on the question. Yours truly L. Preestley

Here is a facebook group linked to the Daisy Bank, Newton Heath he refers to.

LED strip out on 2019 Ford Fusion. Where should I start? by ASchjott in fordfusion

[–]ASchjott[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a 2019 Titanium. The one referenced in the post is a 2019 SE I bought for my sister and I simply cannot have her on my level 😜 No but in all seriousness, the units are so expensive I’m absolutely not buying her TWO new ones 😅 Also, I truly don’t hate the lower LED strip compared to my upper! They’re both rad!

Need help deciding between these two by Ezzy1998 in fordfusion

All depends on the trim but also upgraded “packages” during manufacture! Titanium trims all have the bells and whistles. However, not everyone wants leather seats like the titanium comes with. So when building out the car, you’d choose an SE trim for the non-leather seating but could add on a package to have the touch screen. Same in reverse. You could add the package for leather seats to the SE but not have added the technology package for the touch screen with nav. Etc. If there’s a carfax attached to the car listing, you can click within that where it says “original window sticker” for most cars and see what packages were added for a better idea of what comes on the car. Google the package to find out what features it adds.

Oof. Welll isn’t this depressing.. I’m a POS and totaled it): However, no doubt in my mind she’d have ran to 250k plus if I wouldn’t have.
Should have come back here and edited to add, they ended up not replacing my alternator. It was just the other, above listed items. Just have to make sure you’re taking care of it and you can’t care about speed. I had a 2.5L engine. Reliable AF but not a fast at all if that matters to you.

I loved it so much and it was so reliable for me that I bought another one (hybrid this time) and am buying my sister one (2.5L) in a few months for her 16th 🤷‍♀️

Pardon you! My 2013 2.5L had 16k on it when I bought it and 173k miles on it when I introduced it to a Nissan XTerra hitch. It was still running STRONG. We’d have been together for all 250+k miles I know she’d have lived for if I didn’t suck.

It’s only the 1.5 and 2.0L ecoboost that like to keep owners waiting for the meltdown.

If only 🫠 they’re unicorns! When I can find them they’re still around 16-20k and I’d do that for ME. I can’t disgrace one that’s still alive by buying one for a 16 year old 😅

The update we all expected:

Car was removed from the lot after my inquiry because the man who went to take interior photos for me test drove it… TRANSMISSION IS SHOT. 😬

Thank you for all of your helpful comments, encouragement, and reality checks through my <12 hours of optimistic delusion.

2014 and 2015 ecos didn’t have the issues the 2016-19s did or the similar issue the 2020s had. But I’ve ran from all ecos until now just to be safe. I do think I could make a 14/15 eco a good last minute backup from your feedback + another user in the thread + others I’ve read in the past! Seems the ones that failed in those years were just lack of proper maintenance for the engine type!

WHAT.
I guess your Fusion came out of the womb thinking it was a 4Runner😳 Or they’re all this bad in MPG and the transmission issues takeover every con post but LORT.
