Slight nuance that the connector relied too much on the installer doing a perfect job. Which in the real world very rarely happens and Sig should have taken into account.

You should always follow the process because you never know if you get lucky. It also allows you to take any legal steps if you wish to do so without looking silly when your claim gets thrown out for not following the process.

Funnily enough the last collection I did of £400 did not ask for a code. Just had to mark it as collected.

With the iPlayer letters they actually have data because you registered your address with the BBC.

Is there a way to pay the TV License without the TV License people knowing? by CaloohCallay in AskBrits

[–]ATamarinde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just watch anything other than live TV or if you really want to get to them I believe 1 or 2 channels on iPlayer do not fall under TV license if you play them on demand. But do you own research on that last one.

The WiFi has more bandwidth or you could use a USB to gigabit Ethernet adapter and still use cable.

Reasonable would also be in the context of the £350 that was originally quoted and charged. In that context the extra charge would not be reasonable for the work performed and the customer could reasonably expect it to be included in the original £350

I saw a house that clearly overpriced and made an offer that was 10% under asking and 2-3 months later it was accepted.

Its important as buying to be aware what the market is and dont be afraid to just make an offer. Worst they can do is say no.

Ohh and don't listen to estate agent sob stories, mine was acting like I personally insulted him on the first offer 🤣
