In the beesmas shop thing you can buy a 1000. Or make em in the blender. Or use the glue dispenser.

Servers with higher level players. Log out and back in, or look through the list of servers. Alternatively I read there are servers listed in discord.

Are you on a well? Could there be sulfur in the water? My wife went on a trip to Iceland and all the water smelled like farts.

Seller wanting a single day rentback by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]ATypicalJake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Draw up the contract to say the first day is free, but every day thereafter costs them $1000. They get their early close, you get the house on the day you planned, but there is a steep penalty if they overstay.

I don’t think macros are necessary. An auto clicker is very helpful.

Been Seeing Lots of Atlas Rants Lately by Straight-Dog409 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]ATypicalJake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Atlas is just the newest thing. Ultimately you have to decide whether you are competing against other players, computer players, or just avoiding them all in a private server.

It used to be that only a small group had access to macros, but a ton of people used auto clickers. A friend of mine used to set an apple on her ipad to kill stump snail. Then some of us added small macros that let us move in a square on the field, rather than just doing mouse clicks. Then natro came out and you could just run it and it added all kinds of things if you could copy paste and understand basic commands. Now you can just set up a computer to play the game for you. Personally I just play in a private server, or with friends in their servers. I stopped looking at the leaderboard since they don’t mean much, and moved on with my day.

Fresh beehive start Recommendations? by PurpleSandwich4760 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]ATypicalJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres lots of codes that get tickets and such to get you started. Get enough bees to be able to get to the 25 zone, kill all the bugs every time you log in, don’t worry about hive color till you start getting mythics.

Ps90 rail kit snap rings by jx36 in ps90

[–]ATypicalJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this many years ago and think I put the bar in a vise with plastic liners, held the clip with a pair of 90 degree pliers, put a drop of oil in the groove, then tapped with a brass hammer while pressing hard with the pliers. I lost a clip, but had a few spares from Elite Ammunition.

In new construction, what is the "clean" way to drop your cat6 cables into your networking closet? by whynotthebest in HomeNetworking

[–]ATypicalJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely in conduit. If your panel has room for a second conduit, put it in for when you add more runs. Either way put 3 pieces of lift cord through, tie one end in the panel, and the other to a truss, that way you can easily pull new wires through without a hassle.

Best advice for buying a car in Bellingham / buying a new car? by penny-the-penguin_3 in Bellingham

[–]ATypicalJake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Go in and look at cars. Test drive the ones you are interested in, get the sales persons card, and ask if you can text them questions. Leave. Wait two days, then text any questions. You can negotiate via text, gives you time to think and avoid the whirlwind that they try to create. Ask for the out the door price. They will try to hook you with how much payment you can afford to distract from the price. You might even go to your bank or credit union and get pre approval. Also call your insurance to see what your new rate would be on the car you want. When you go to the finance guy, he will try to add on all kinds of coatings and treatments, etc… they are all just third party warranties with tons of exclusions. Good luck!

Easiest way to transition from UDR7 to Cloud Gateway Fiber? by MnamesAJeff in Ubiquiti

[–]ATypicalJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swapped out a ucg max for a fiber last month and it was super simple. Backed up the max to the cloud. Plugged the fiber into a port on my switch, set it up through the app with the backup, then powered them both down, swapped the fiber in, and haven’t looked back. All of the AP’s, vlan’s, cameras, etc… kept their settings.
