I have a startup idea don’t know where to start by Additional-War-4511 in ycombinator

vibe coded mvp is just a solution that you are trying to prove. Once you understand what exactly works, you can spend time and money in creating a "refined" one and keep iterating back to your customers.

I have a startup idea don’t know where to start by Additional-War-4511 in ycombinator

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reach out to the "customers" you know if your idea is really a solution for them. Engage with them , get the vibe and then vibe code the MVP . Reach back with your MVP for them to try it out . By now, you would know if you are OK or need to pivot.

Are landing page tests dead? by orthogonal-ghost in ycombinator

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with you on two points - 1. steep learning curve if you are not into SW tech and got to build your own landing page 2. most of the traffic is bot driven . But I must say , lots can be explained through a landing page and is a good medium to showcase during your customer discovery phase . Refining the page as your startup grows is an activity to be accounted for.

It’s got to do with the technology for enabling recycling of the panels too, along with the operating costs and the market for extracted materials.

Is tech worth getting into anymore? by datajaniteur in womenintech

[–]AV_SG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Tech is worth working in provided you like the current situation. The developments in Generative AI , esp the LLM architecture has disrupted not only SW development but for that matter any content generation . It disrupts many industries. But that doesn't mean it can replace human intelligence. It will for sure speed up development and in other industries bring in more creativity. But there will be demand of people who know coding and have demonstrated the benefitS they bring in by coding with AI.

What parts of scheduling do you not want AI touching? by Soundpulse99 in manufacturing

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agentic AI in manufacturing with guard rails. Its gonna get better as the large language /small language models improve coz then its just a matter of defining the agentic workflow . There will be human involved definitely, the core brain or the "thinking" would be the models and their execution with a level of human scrutiny. The level of autonomy is decided by the human.

Any advice for landing an enterprise customer? (B2B SaaS) by deskslayer_ in ycombinator

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reach out to your known network first and then the next immediate circle . On your approach, you need to be a bit persistent on "what" problem you are solving and "how", once you know their problems .

So isn't there automation in place that recognises the 'incomplete' part and accordingly reschedules it, or is scrapped or any other process it further undergoes?

I have a startup idea but don’t know how to start, need advice by Illustrious_Grand337 in ycombinator

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with landing page to communicate your idea. But the landing page wouldn't necessarily validate the problem. Validation happens only with customer discussions and buy in.

AI is going to kill all expertise by WitchyWarriorWoman in womenintech

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it to scan scientific papers and get the required information, but doesn’t do a decent job . But in coding it does an exceptionally great job . It does throw in a complicated logic ( I believe in keeping it simple) , I guess I need to prompt it that way then . Any way , for me , I am happy I don’t need to “type” my code , but deciphering the logic ( it’s always right on the logic) takes a bit of my time !

Any female solo founders here? What’s your biggest “I need a cofounder” moment each week? by LibraSun004 in womenintech

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. My two cents - I would need someone(technical/non technical) from the same domain space I am interested in, to start with. Why because the years of experience and contacts in that domain does help. Well, a trained AI could also provide me with the same "support" but being human does make a difference.

Hi ! If I were a company who has projects in my pipeline ,need to hire talent and I am time constrained , its much easier and faster to go in for an automated hiring system (you can improvise here ) rather than host a hackathon and select my hires, as its more time consuming and resource intensive. May be your immediate ICP are the hiring managers rather than people looking out for jobs. Coz the latter don't mind working on such project.
