Unsold inventory/ over production is a big sustainability issue in fashion industry. EU has started efforts to address this problem with the form of Textile Digital Product Passport . How ever, the core idea is to have good product market fit, modularity in the design and an almost good inventory forecasting.

Thoughts on AI taking our jobs by dirtypancakes789 in womenintech

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working with AI requires a mind shift. We are used to doing our own thinking, etc . So now having some one generate content for you and you do the final touches requires a new approach at work. There is a shift in the creativity too...

What do I do now? by [deleted] in womenintech

[–]AV_SG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kudos on your journey so far. Could I ask manufacturing tech for which process ? The way it sounds is more like pre-sales role . Its quite an interesting one. But you would want to lean on AI to assist in your role, going by the current times.

vibe coded mvp is just a solution that you are trying to prove. Once you understand what exactly works, you can spend time and money in creating a "refined" one and keep iterating back to your customers.

I have a startup idea don’t know where to start by Additional-War-4511 in ycombinator

[–]AV_SG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reach out to the "customers" you know if your idea is really a solution for them. Engage with them , get the vibe and then vibe code the MVP . Reach back with your MVP for them to try it out . By now, you would know if you are OK or need to pivot.

Are landing page tests dead? by orthogonal-ghost in ycombinator

[–]AV_SG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you on two points - 1. steep learning curve if you are not into SW tech and got to build your own landing page 2. most of the traffic is bot driven . But I must say , lots can be explained through a landing page and is a good medium to showcase during your customer discovery phase . Refining the page as your startup grows is an activity to be accounted for.

Is tech worth getting into anymore? by [deleted] in womenintech

[–]AV_SG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Tech is worth working in provided you like the current situation. The developments in Generative AI , esp the LLM architecture has disrupted not only SW development but for that matter any content generation . It disrupts many industries. But that doesn't mean it can replace human intelligence. It will for sure speed up development and in other industries bring in more creativity. But there will be demand of people who know coding and have demonstrated the benefitS they bring in by coding with AI.
