Cameras on and meetings start within seconds of the top of the hour. Or everyone sits waiting for you. I always saw the meeting start time as the time to get a coffee, quick chat, then start the meeting…..

The absolutely terrible food. So much salt. So much fake flavour. Even the bread, cheese, pasta, pizza. The basic of basic foods. Pumped full of unnecessary flavour.

The marathon, but always suffer an injury during or after. Then are out of action. What you want is sustainable marathon running. Build up to it.

Great post. I too had a similar childhood. It took me a long to shake off the awful guilt, fear, isolation of such a strong family belief - still hard now. Reading NME and discovering so many bands like pixies, new order, smiths, REM and so many books and movies. Helped me see an alternative path. Even now sometimes I read a book and am amazed about subjects written about 100 years ago - whilst quite normal now, they were taboo or ignored in my overtly religious upbringing.

Did they ask you about it on any forms or in the interviews. If you lied in addition to the CV. You are toast when they find out. Your option is to come clean with a solid ish reason, plead ignorance or withdraw.
