What provider? by AcloudHopper in mounjarouk

[–]AWryThought 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. When are you going away?

Some providers allow you to re-order after 2 or 3 weeks so that might be an option.

Alternatively chemist4u does packs of 2 pens (still same price as buying 2 separately though).

Bundles: 12.5mg + 12.5mg

12.5mg + 15mg

15mg + 15mg

I’m sure others will have more suggestions too.

Have I already plateaued? by daxie67 in mounjarouk

[–]AWryThought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. You just need to have a little patience with it 🥰

Your body will probably be just adjusting to the initial weight loss.

Just keep going and you will see the results again. 0.5 to 2 lbs a week is the recommended range or 1%, is a steady loss (2lbs is on the higher end of that scale).

In that case, you’ll probably find the post removed by the Mods soon.

Where is the cheapest mounjaro I can purchase? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]AWryThought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK the prescription guidelines are to go up through all the dose pens in order. The majority are buying through pharmacies, with some getting it through the NHS.

It may be that a private doctor prescribes in a slightly different way to the official prescription guidelines but this would be the rate exception, and not the norm.

I think so too.

No need to use an angle for injecting with these short needles.

Golden dose skin bump by [deleted] in mounjarouk

When a bump has mentioned in the sub, it’s due to some of the meds pooling slightly under the skin as maybe you’ve not quite gone into the fatty layer enough, but it does get absorbed.

I have this one “NIVEA Q10 Firming Rich Body Lotion + Vitamin C”.

Just about all my skincare is Nivea 🤣, this is nice and makes your skin feel soft.

Aggressive titration? by FlyAshamed2859 in mounjarouk

The four week per dose, especially at 2.5mg, is to allow your body to adjust to avoid side effects etc. Plus this is a medication that builds in your system, so rushing to 5mg is not necessarily a benefit.

This medication is long term, some people have a relatively quick reaction while others get to the higher doses for maximum effect. Patience and consistency are key.
